"Come one Professor Binns isn't that bad," I defend.
"You're joking right?" Junior asks.
"You're seriously saying that you've never fallen asleep just out of pure boredom during one of his lectures," Evan says.
"Maybe once..ok four times," I admit, making them all laugh.
"Such a Hufflepuff," Regulus teases, making me glare at him.
"I'm gonna go change into my robes," I say standing up and grabbing my bag that has my school uniform. There laughter follows after me, making me roll my eyes as I enter the bathroom. After I finish changing, looking in the mirror I decided to redo my high ponytail since it's a little messed up.
"Well, well, well aren't you such a Black," I hear a voice say...the voice of Rodolphus.
"That's impossible," I whisper in fear.
"Nothing is impossible for an elite Pureblood," Rabastan says as he and Rodolphus step out of the shadows.
"What do you two want," I snap.
"Oh, we're being mean, are we," Rodolphus says. A second later I am slammed against a stall with Rodolphus' hand wrapped around my throat.
"Now listen carefully little girl. If you don't get sorted into Slytherin and only Slytherin, well let's just say Regulus will suffer the consequences," Rodolphus threatens. My magic shoots out of me fuelled by the anger of him daring to threaten me with Regulus.
"I am warning you Lestrange if you come for my brother I will rip you apart. And I get my temper from my mother," I warn them, knowing they have seen what happens when my mother loses her temper.
"Get into only Slytherin and we won't have a problem," Rabastan says though he looks a little cautious.
"Got it! Now leave," I order and they do. I compose myself quickly before leaving for my compartment, their threat still running through my mind. I have to get into Slytherin, I have to dupe the sorting hat,..somehow. Heading back to the compartment I'm still shaken up by my encounter with the Lestrange brothers. How in the name of Merlin can I lie to the sorting hat. Not watching where I'm going to deep in thought I run into someone.
"Sorr-" I stop myself seeing who I ran into.
"If it isn't the mighty Slytherin princess," Ava Colt -the girl who I first tried to introduce myself to and then immediately became enemies with- announces sarcastically to her friend group, the other Gryffindors who spoke against me that first night we were at the castle.
"Envy isn't attractive," I say in a bored tone. I really don't have time for this, I have more important things to worry about than some annoying Gryffindors.
"Who is to say I'm envious of you?" She snaps looking at me with clear disdain.
"I think that's the weakest argument I've ever heard. Besides there is no need to lie, I know that you just like everyone else is blind with jealousy," I say. If only they knew the truth.
"She is here," I hear someone call. The Gryffindors look over my shoulder as I turn around seeing Junior approach us.
"Some Gryffindorks giving you trouble?" He asks once he's reached us, glaring at the the Gryffindors.
"Nothing I can't handle," I reply.
"Course," Evan says, appearing behind the Gryffindors with Regulus, With a glare at us they rush off playing it smart for once.
