Estrella pov

"Good morning," Andromeda greets when I sit down at the Slytherin table for breakfast.

"Morning," I say.

"What do you want to do today?" Bellatrix asks.

"I think I'm just going to spend my time finishing up some homework," I say.

"Mother and father are going to love your report card," Regulus says.

"You don't know that," I say.

"With the amount of time you spend on school work I'd be surprised if you aren't getting straight O's," Bellatrix teases.

"I'm leaving," I say standing up.

"To the library," Andromeda calls after making all of them laugh as an involuntary smile makes its way on my face. Just to make sure Andromeda wasn't correct I head to the common room. An hour later the others come into the common room glancing at me before laughing making me roll my eyes.

"Mind if I join." Looking up from my charms essay I see Severus.

"Not at all. What about the rest of you?" I ask.

"I have to go. I have a meeting with the...with someone," Bellatrix says and leaves before anyone could ask who this someone was.

"What's going on with Bella?" I ask.

"I don't know," Andromeda replies.

"Me and Andi will check on her, don't worry about it," Regulus says and the two of them get up and leave.

"Isn't your family...interesting," Severus says.

"Not the word I would have used, but yeah," I say.

"So I was meaning to ask you, have you been avoiding me since the incident at the library?" Severus asks.

"Well...I...yes but only because I don't want something like that to ever happen again. I feel like it's my fault that you had to spend two weeks in the hospital wing," I say.

"I want you to listen to me very carefully, it is not your fault and I can't even believe that Sirius would drag you into this," Severus says.

"I just don't understand your problem with each other," I say.

"We have a long history," is all Severus says. I know that there is more to the story but decide not to press.

Meanwhile in the Gryffindor common room

Third person pov

James and Sirius are pacing back and forth trying not to look at the map lying on a desk in their dorm.

"How long are you going to be pacing until one of you check the map to see if Estrella is with Snape?" Remus asks. Sirius and James look at each other then look at Remus and Peter. James grabs the map, takes out his wand and says. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

"No you know what, I trust her I don't need to look at the map," Sirius says although he doesn't sound as confident in his answer as usual.

"You sure," James says, turning the map to Sirius with his wand pointed at Estrella and Severus' names.

"I am going to kill both of them," Sirius says. James throws the map down and he and Sirius are about to leave when Remus stops them.

"No stop stop, you are just going to make things worse and besides if you care to notice she is in the Slytherin common room no way you're getting in there," Remus says. James and Sirius look at each other then smile as if they know they had the same thought.
