Hi, I was not going to post today but then wow I saw that we hit over 240 reads on my story. I want to say a really big thank you to all of you and I'm so happy you're all enjoying this book. So here is the next chapter of the book.

1976

Sirius pov

"I mean it's not like we get a lot of time alone," I say.

"No we never do," Remus says.

"They are always around. So what if I skip practice then," I offer.

"Skipping quidditch? I didn't know you had a death wish Black. Prongs will skin you if you don't start coming up with better excuses," Remus warns.

"Better than private snogging time with Remus Lupin. Besides, I like a little danger in life," I say. Just then James comes running out of nowhere panting heavily.

"Merlin's beard. Does your captain badge come with an extra sense or something? What's up with you?" Remus asks.

"Did Red finally come to her senses?" I ask.

"This is all your fault," James accuses.

"Mine?" I ask confused.

"Seems fair," Remus says.

"Oh don't you act so innocent, Lupin. You've played your part in this," James says.

"Now that I do believe," I say.

"James if this is about the dungbomb that happened to find its way into your bag this morning-" I start.

"Oh no, I just so happened to switch bags with Pete today," James dismisses.

"No, this is about Lockhart. He won't leave me alone, he follows me around between classes and he acts like we're friends, especially when there are first and second years around. Stop laughing, you gits! And don't you say a word Lupin," Jame rants.

"Where is Wormtail anyway?" I ask.

"I hexed his hair to look like mine and sent him in the opposite direction," James says, sitting down on the bench.

"Seriously?" Remus asks.

"I can't believe you sacrificed him," I laugh.

"Dark time Black, dark times," James responds.

"Has he seemed a little off to you?" Remus asks.

"Well we do have our NEWTS this year and there is a war going on, enough reason for anyone to act a little shaken," I say.

"I suppose," Remus says.

"Maybe he is seeing someone or you know wants to. Girls can even make the best of us seem a little off sometimes. Oh come on, not all of us can live happily ever after with one of our best friends," James says.

"You don't think we've had our fair share of problems," Remus says.

"You, if anyone should know how we were before we sorted things out. Not everyone can get married and live happily ever after with their husband or wife" I say.

"Fine, sorry! I don't make up the laws," James defends.

"No but you can be a little more aware of how they don't include everyone," Remus says.

"You know what, forget about it. I'm gonna go look for Pete," James says and stands up leaving us alone.

"We shouldn't take it out on him," I say.

"No but he was the one interrupting-"

"You should be more careful," someone calls. I turn around to see Regulus with Estrella approaching us.
