"So are you two excited to go back to Hogwarts?" father asks between bits of his steak.
"Not really it's my OWL year," Regulus complains, making me giggle.
"Oh shut up haven't even been sorted yet, are you sure you're entering your third year," Regulus shoots back making me stop laughing and glare at him.
"As soon as this year's sorting is over, yes," I counter and take a bite of my fillet mignon. Just then a maid comes up to me with my Hogwarts letter on a silver platter. I take the letter sending the maid a small smile as a thank you. I look across the table to see that Regulus has also gotten his letter. I open my letter excited to see what my new classes will be.
"Did you get all the classes you wanted?" mother asks.
"Yup ancient runes, divination and Arithmancy," I say smiling, glad that I got all my classes. I see another piece of parchment in the letter and take it out unfolding it. I read through and realise it's my Hogsmeade permission form.
"Mother, father, can you sign my permission form for Hogsmeade?" I ask.
"Of course," mother says and takes the piece of parchment from me. Father snaps his fingers and immediately a butler that was standing off to the side appears next to him.
"Get me a quill and ink," father orders sharply.
"Right away sir," the butler says and leaves the room. A piece of metal falls out of Regulus' letter and onto the mahogany table creating a clinking sound.
"Prefect. You made Prefect Regulus congratulations," I gush and Regulus smiles at me proudly.
"Well done son," father says, clearly proud himself. His comment makes Regulus's smile toward me turn slightly cocky to which I stick my tongue out at him.
"Just wait till I'm in my fifth year, I'll be a Prefect," I say, turning up my nose giving my face a haughty expression us Blacks are known for.
"Maybe and by then I will be head boy," Regulus says, shooting me his own haughty look.
"Regulus, Estrella will you two stop acting like children and more like the way you're expected," mother snaps clearly annoyed with our banter. With her comment we drop our expression and I put on my fake smile that we have perfected so much it doesn't look fake.
"I apologise mother," Regulus says dutifully to which I nod in agreement. We turn back to our food as the butler re enters the dining room ink and quill in hand. He sets them down on the table and mother and father sign both mine and Regulus Hogsmeade forms.

"Dumbledore is loving that you're in two houses," Junior tells me jokingly even though he is currently glaring at Dumbledore.
"That's because it's feeding his Gryffindor ego," I reply with a roll of my eyes bored out of mind.
"Who in the name of Merlin has pissed you off?" Evan asks.
"Nothing, or no one, sorting day is just not my favourite," I say.
"Why? Isn't it agreed upon that everyone finds sorting day exciting?" Regulus asks with a raised eyebrow.
"It is, but I don't know it just loses its excitement after a while," I say shrugging.
"Oh how could we forget not only are you part of the Noble and Ancient house of Black you also deputed the sorting hat which placed you into two houses," Junior teases, making me elbow him in his stomach.
