Ch 93 Death Plays The Cards

Feeling sore you both stayed in the office, you were looking through the information on the mine when you said "should I just open it as is?" looking over he says "get some workers and have mining tools and information placed and turn it into a mini museum" nodding you agree.

Sending the information on to Takeshi to solve and surfing the net for mining paraphernalia. Receiving a call, Kai answered then there was a scream wincing you placed it on speaker "oh my God why didn't you say this was coming? Where do you want it?" shocked you say "calm down, what?" taking a breath she says "the stocks" exhaling "well shit, I forgot about them. I thought by the police station with information about the punishment and maybe a demonstration".

Laughing and a "will do Boss. The priest is moving in tomorrow and the land will be concecreted the next day" smiling you sigh "that's great. Oh any of your old companions want to run a mine exhibit? Not open yet, could do with two or three there" she hums "I will ask around, living space?" laughing "yeah, I am having all the old shacks rebuilt".

"will get word out. Thanks" then you ended the call, looking at the date you say "a week left until I go away for a few days" smiling you both get to work, laughing when you see the other invoice that came same day as the ancient hearse waving the invoice you say "Kai I think it's time to bring them in" he grabs the paper smiles and nods.

He phones the funeral parlor in the village and asked "are all the preparations ready for the hearse?" the lady on the other side chuckles "it is. We getting it all soon?" he says "they will be there soon, I am phoning to have them all delivered" a cheerful laugh then "okay I will get the supplies in. Thank you" he says "no thank you for doing this" he ends the call and calls the two suppliers asking them to deliver to the address, getting a confirmation, he ends the call.

He nods to you as you both grin, a survey on the mine was ordered, as well as fixing the buildings around it, a small pay out to fix everything, all quotes and invoices were sent to Ko, he was groaning at the amount of paperwork and files being sent through, he gave the job to Aoi, who saw the second invoice and laughed, looking at Ko, he filed it secretly.

Spending the next few days, just concentrating on all the different areas that needed a bit of attention, the injured homeless man, was now slowly walking around he had been helping some of the others, with minor tasks, saying he wanted to help.

Five mini buses and two buses had been purchased and a stop was being placed at every venue, there will be a small charge for customers and the staff can use their discount cards as proof, to ride for free.

Jerking you blink look at Kai saying "what about membership passes, year passes or monthly passes for all the attractions?" he jerks thinks and says "or all of the above. I do think yearly and membership is best. They can buy at all venues or on the website?" twitching you nod then say "a different picture, style, colour every year?" he smiles then says "should we buy a place that can do our souvenirs to cut the costs?" you both look at each other and smirk.

Kai was going to concentrate on all this while you were away. When you got back you had the shrine opening and his club opening to attend.

The week had gone quickly and now you were packing to spend three days in Kyoto, you couldn't wait the history in the place was astronomical, your men did really well.

They had booked and Onsen-Ryoken, near the centre the spring was private and you had created an itenary of things you wanted to see after a bit of research.

To give you a proper experience you were taking the train, Ran grabbed your bag as you said your see you soons, a lower rank drove you to the station. Excited you were bubbly and bouncy, to the delight and chuckles of your men.

The tickets bought you sat having a drink as you waited for the train, you gave a list of places you would like to see saying "I know we probably won't have time for all of them, and you may have plans already" they smile and point Sanzu says "already going to these places" and points to four of the places you suggested.

Smiling you giggle and hug him, then Ran and lastly Rin with a happy "thank you. I can't wait" a voice announced the arrival of your train, standing you bounce to the waiting line, three men looked at each other and smiled.

Getting on the train, you go to your seats, you had bought four seats with a table, sitting near the window, Rin sat next to you. Looking out the window you say "this is my first train trip, I am doing so many new things with you all. Thank you for loving me" a snicker then "sappy Looney Tunes" you growl.

They all chuckle, Ran brings out the snacks, drinks and a deck of cards with a smirk saying "okay bets for the nights while on this trip?" you groan as they all grin with shiny eyes. Playing cards all the way to Kyoto, you won quite a few games with them gaping at you.

Rin asks puzzled "how did you do that?" you smile and chuckle saying "not a lot to do in that place Babe. Had to learn something" they wince then Sanzu points saying "card shark" you chuckle and say "I never said I couldn't play. Did you try and take advantage of my naivety?" gasps and sheepish looks.

The train arrives and you leave still chuckling, they hired a rickshaw to take you to the inn.
