"Yeah," I said. "That's Brendan everyone." Brendan waves and everyone says their hellos. Everybody in the room was convinced we were together, even though we only knew each other for a day.

"Hey B," my dad says, "go take care of Memaw before dinner's done. You can take Brendan if you want." I nod. My grandma, better known as Memaw, had arthritis in her legs, so things were harder for her than the average person.

Brendan and I leave the house to walk next door to my grandma's. As we're walking down the road, I tell him, "My grandma, Karen, has arthritis in her legs. She can't get around so easily. I think you'll like her." Brendan nods and says, "My great-aunt back in New Jersey has arthritis, so she's in the same condition."

I unlock the door and walk in my grandma's house. We walk into the living room to see my grandma sitting on the couch. "Hey Brianna! Who's this?" she greets/asks. I answer, "This is Brendan. He's new to our town, and road, and I had to show him around school today." My grandma says, "Well, hi!" Brendan waves and says awkwardly, "Hi."

About thirty minutes later, we leave. As we're walking down the road, Brendan says, "She's nice." I replied, "I told you you would like her." He smiles, and it makes me swoon a little. Swooning is when someone's heart goes from one place to the next and they feel like they're going to burst into little heart confetti pieces.

We make it back to my house, and I say, "Go ahead inside. I gotta call my grandma to tell her we made it home okay." He nods and walks in, while I go through my contacts, and hit the one that says Memaw to call.

She picks up and asks, "Hello?"

I answer, "Made it home okay."

 "Brendan is cute!"

I laugh and say, "I know right!"

She laughs and says, "I'll see you later. Love you."

 "Love you. Bye."

 "Bye."

I hang up and walk inside. "Dinner's done!" my dad yells. We all go into the kitchen and grab food.

After dinner, we all just talked about random stuff. More like the adults talked about "stuff", while we talk and goof-off. Kayla asks, "So Brendan, where 'ya from?" He answers, "I'm from Belleville, New Jersey. The drive here sucked. It took too long, and I didn't have anything to do." Nee asks, "When someone tells you that you look like a Frerard offspring, how do you react?" I laugh, and Brendan hesitates. "Um," he says, "I don't know how to respond to that. A bunch of people at my old school said that to me, and I already know what Frerard is. I take it as a compliment." Nee and I laugh, and Helena asks, "What's a Frerard?" We all facepalm, and I answer, "It's an OTP." Kayla asks, "What's an OTP?" I answer again, "It stands for One True Pairing. For example, Breg, Hanan, Trendon, all the good stuff." Helena says, "Then we need to ship you two." I blush, and Brendan and I say in unison, "Uh, no." Kayla says, "I got it! Brenna!" We all laugh, and Brendan says, "Well, you see, I have a girlfriend back in New Jersey."
