Maddison's POV
Today in training we were doing target practice. Noah and I were working on our precision,while Liberty and Andrew practiced their quantity.
I slammed my locker shut after putting away my training suit. I was about to leave, Andrew following behind me, when Liberty's voice stopped us.
"Guys, wait up!" We swiftly turned around stopping at the exit.
Noah and Liberty walked over to us with their bags in hand.
"So...we were thinking..." Noah said dragging out his words while making eye contact with Libby.
"We should go camping" Liberty blurted out with a smile plastered across her face.
Andrew and I exchanged wary expressions, giving the others a side eye.
"We aren't allowed that far off campus" I stated , recalling the rules Albert told us in our first week of living here.
"Yeah, and I don't want to sleep outside." Andrew stated bluntly looking completely over the conversation.
"Well,we were thinking we could have it inside, downstairs" Noah said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"And we wanted to pull an all nighter" Liberty said in a convincing tone. "Come on Maddie it will be fun" She said reaching out to grab my hand.
"And besides we haven't hung out as a group outside of training before" Noah said looking at Andrew with pleading eyes.
"fine." we sighed simultaneously.
"Yay!!" Liberty squealed.
"Ok meet in the basement at 7" Noah said, while placing his arm around Liberty.
They looked at each other exchanging mischievous smirks. Andrew and I glanced at each other sharing the same skeptical expression.
6:57 pm
I opened my room door, stepping across the hall, I timidly knocked on Andrew's door.
Silence.
I knocked again. Silence.
Maybe he's gone down already, I thought to myself, as I stepped away from the door.
I was about to turn away when the door slid open. Andrew was standing there shirtless with a towel wrapped around his waist. Water drops trickled down his body, catching onto his silver chain before falling down onto his rock hard abs.
He ran his hand through his wet hair, while his bicep glistened.
"It's rude to stare you know" a deep voice cut into my thought.
"Um I wasn't staring." I let out awkwardly. I looked up at him, those green eyes locking with mine.
"What do you want?" He asked bored.
"We should be heading down now" I said, fiddling with my bracelet, his gaze making me nervous for some reason.
"Ok hold on" he said.
Andrew turned away from the door walking towards his closet. He picked out a few items then headed back into his bathroom.
He came back out in grey joggers, still shirtless. I watched as he moved towards me, I awkwardly stood in his doorway.
His abs kept me in a trance, my feet were planted in the ground.
"lets go" he stated, towering over me.
"Go put a shirt on" I blurted.
"Why? Is it bothering you" he looked down at me smirking.
He turned around and headed back into the room. He pulled a white shirt over his head swiftly.He came out of the room, gently closing the door behind him. We began walking down the hall in silence.
He opened the door to the stairwell.
"Ladies first."I stated, stepping into the doorway.
"Let me know when she gets here." He replied pushing past me.
I scoffed while laughing as we made our way to the basement.
"What are you two love birds laughing about" Noah said in teasing tone walking past us with bowls of snacks.
Andrew's smirk contorted into a look of hate as he glared at Noah. "Love birds?!" he echoed, "yeah,maybe if I was blind."
I look down as I felt my eyes become slightly glossy; his comments reminding me of my Uncle. I let out a low awkward chuckle, playing it off.
"No need to be a dick" I said rolling my eyes as I began to walk over to Liberty.
As I fully entered the room, I began taking in my surroundings. They had set up the projector, with bean bags and snack bowls on the floor. They had moved the pool table to make room for the fort they built.
Pillows, blankets and sleeping bags were set up, with pink fairy lights lacing around the edges.
"This look so good guys" I exclaimed while propping myself onto the beanbag next to Liberty.
"Of course, I set it up" she said with a wide smile spread across her face.
"Uh I helped you put the lights up" Noah said in a sassy voice while sitting down next to her.
I laughed as I felt the bean bag next to me dip. I briefly turned making eye contact with Andrew.
"No you didn't!" Liberty replied.I turned back to them letting out a small laugh.
"Don't act like you could reach by yourself." Noah retorted.
We all laughed then turned our attention back to the screen.
"So what are we watching" I asked Liberty.
"A horror." Noah said from behind her with a smirk on his face.
"Yay,I love a good horror." I let out sarcastically.
We all turned to the screen as 'The Black Phone' began to play.
