It's been four days since this "team" had started. Training has been great, I've found some ways to control my powers.

We all pretty much get along, except me and Andrew. He's a dick most of the time.

We normally hang out in the game room or by the courts but Andrew normally just pisses off in his room. He's quite antisocial.
When he does speak it's mostly to Noah, they're good friends and all, and he's nice to Liberty. He only seems to have a problem with me. Whatever.

I was laying in my room playing with my lighter when I heard a soft knock on the door.

"Maddison, time for training" Noah said in a husky voice.

"Ok" I replied with a smile, as he turns to exit my room.

I hopped off my bed and headed for the door. I was about to reach for the handle when I heard a noise behind me. I turned around to see a few books had fallen off my desk. I walked over and started pickering them up.

" Maddison, hurry up" Noah shouted from down the hall. "Coming!" I replied, quickly picking up the books and rushing out the door.

As I ran out the door, I slammed into something hard, stumbling back.
"Watch it." Andrew said dryly.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

I started to walk away when I felt something grab my wrist and pull me onto the wall.

Andrew slammed his hand onto the wall beside my head. I looked down and realised it was a thick vine holding my right wrist firmly against the wall.

Another wrapped its way around my left wrist. Both started to tighten.

He learnt how to do that on the second day. Out of all of us Andrew has been best at controlling and effectively using his powers physically.

We are almost even matched, but I'm "struggling to focus on mental connections and lessons, which is limiting my capability" Bert always says. We've all improved drastically and learnt a lot of tricks but Linda and Bert say we are nowhere near our full potential.

"What have I told you about doing that" Andrew says as his irises glowing green.
I avoid eye contact and start to wriggle my wrists trying to get free.

The vines continue to tighten. Giving up with getting free, I look him dead in the eye.

"Ok ok sorry."

He lossend the vines and we continued to walk.

"Prick" I mumbled loud enough for him to hear, before dashed down the hall.

He chased after me but we soon came to a halt as Alfred stepped in front of me.

I abruptly stopped. Andrew ran into my back. He wrapped his arm around my waist to stabilise himself.

We quickly moved apart from each other.

We awkwardly apologised to Alfred and headed to the locker room, before he could scold us for "using powers unnecessarily outside of training and lessons" for the hundredth time.

We quickly got changed then went into the training room.
