CHAPTER-2

BECKY'S POV

I'm in my office room doing some paper works. I'm a lawyer in my dad's company. I handle every legal and illegal matters. I know we are Mafia. My dad is a maafia king of England. Our gang name is 'ARMSTRONG EMPIRE'.

I am looking after a case. Someone cased against us. We owned some bars here all of the country. We supply drugs there. One of our men were supplying some drugs in xxx bar. Someone captured a video of this.

He gives that video to cops but he requested to hide his identity. The little did he knows that we own police also 😈. But some cops are too honest 😮‍💨 and I've to face them. That's why I studied law to face those assholes.

But no worries, he went to our cops to complain 😆. After he left the station one of their cop called me and informed the matter. Without asking he gave me his details.

Smart ass.... I thought

I called Liam and instruct him what to do. Then I called Michael to collect the avidence from police station and delete the footage after Liam finish his work. I was thinking about this when someone knock on my office door.

'KNOCK'    'KNOCK'

"Come in" I said. Then I saw dad.

"What are you doing my princess? " He asked.

"Nothing much, dad . Someone tried to expose us but I'll take care of it. "

"Are you sure? "

"Are you questioning my abilities?"

"No, no, no! U seems busy with works that's why I asked you. I know your abilities, princess. That's why I give you to handle those things. There's no doubt,you are soon to be maafia queen!"

"Thanks, dad. I hope not to disappoint you in future. "

"I know, you'll not disappoint me.... BTW  what happened? "

I explain dad what happened.

"What do you think who send him? Chankimha? "

"I don't know, dad. Maybe-"

I was cut off by a incoming call. It's from Liam.

"Hello! " I greet him.

"Hello mam! We arrived! " Liam informed me.

"Ok, wait. I'm coming. Until then u guys can have fun with him. " I said and Liam chuckled.

"Ok mam" Liam said and I ended the call.

"What happened princess?" Dad asked.

"Liam caught the guy. I'm leaving first, dad."

"Did u have your lunch princess? It's already late! "

"No, dad. I'll buy food on my way. "

"Don't neglect your health, princess."

"I'll not, dad." I smile at him and leave for my destination.

On my way to the warehouse, I grab a burger🍔 for my lunch. I didn't felt hungry until my dad mentioned it. Now I'm hungry like hell. As I opened my mouth like a shark and about to take a big bite when my phone start to ring.

Ugh! There goes my burger. I thought and my face palmed 😑

I check my phone and it's none other than my little sister Mon. I quickly pick up the call.

On call :

Mon: Hello sisy!

Me: Hey Mon! What's up? Why did you  call me?

Mon: I'm good. Tomorrow is weekend and I'm free.

Me: So?

Mon: I'll be bore & feel lonely.

Me : come straight to the point Mon.
( don't take me wrong. I'm hungry and she interrupted my lunch time. I really want to finish this call and savor my burger. But she is not coming straight to the point. 😮‍💨)

Mon: Can u come with me to the Disneyland? To accompany me?

Me: I've work tomorrow!

Mon: But tomorrow is weekend!

Me:  I've some work to finish. I'm not free tomorrow. We can go there next weekend.

Mon : But my exams are coming. I've only this weekend to enjoy.

Me : Then we'll go on Sunday!

Mon : I've some plans with my friends. Please, sisy, come with me tomorrow! I want sister time with you. Bcz u r always busy!

( I can sense that she is pouting now. I know her very well.)

Me: Mon!

Mon: pretty pweeasse!

Me: ok ok, fine! I'll go with you. Don't need to do puppy eyes anymore. I'm already effected by it!

( I let out a little chuckled)

Mon : How do you know that?!

Me : it's a secret. Now lemme eat my burger. I'm starving Mon!

Mon: oh! Ok, enjoy your burger, byee.

Me: bye!

I cut the call and without wasting any moment I savored my burger hungrily.

If you guys are thinking that I didn't bought milk tea....FYI I bought it. I love milk tea so much that idk without milk tea how can I survive a day!
