CHAPTER-34

SAM'S POV

It's been over a week Mon joined my company. I didn't take any interview, I directly hired her. She's an intern for a month. She needs to get along with everything before I promote her to the HOD post. I don't care if anyone think that I'm favouring Mon. I really like her, from the day when they came into our mansion. My eyes were stuck on her. She's so charming. And her smile?... Well, whenever I see her smiling, a smile creep on my lips automatically. It doesn't matter if I'm included in the topic or not when she's talking with me Or my family. And yeah I don't like when she smiles at others, besides me and my family.

Her charms doesn't only brighten up my world but it also brightens up my office. Every men in my office are after her and every women are jealous of her. Now I'm worried about it. In office I can't see her much. I  can only see her when I call her in my office with an excuse. I call her after lunch to know how's her day going, how her colleagues are behaving with her, if anyone is disturbing her with anything, how her work is going, what they (the team) are doing for the project, ect.

And she answers me excitedly. Whenever she speaks about work and stuffs, her hands move everytime and smiles widely. Everytime I find more reasons to keep her in my office a little longer. But I know she needs to work. We almost spend most of the time together at home.

Everyone in the office knows that she's my relative. And I know they do gossips about it. Even oneday I heard someone saying that I'm doing nepotism. But I don't give a shit to them. All I care about is Mon. We come to the office building together, sometimes we do lunch together and we also leave the office together. And most importantly I only smile towards her and no one else. And if it's our business partner, I only give them a fake smile not a genuine smile that I give to Mon only. And yeah, my family too.

Sometimes I miss her.  Like right now I'm missing her badly, even though I saw her just about an hour ago. That's why I'm thinking about calling her in my office again. Hehehehe...

It's around lunch time already, so we can have lunch together and talk about anything and everything. But I'm thinking about asking her to have lunch outside today. Sounds like a lunch date right?

Anyways whatever it is, I'm not considering it as a date yet. I just want to spend more time with her.

As I planned, I called her and asked her to come to my office.

After a few minutes, I heard a knock on my office door.

"Come in" I said looking at the door. and I saw mon entering my office room. A smile crept on my face.

"Good afternoon Sam" she said smiling sweetly.

"Good afternoon mon." I smiled back.

"May I know why you asked me to come here? Is there anything I can do for you?" She asked politely.

"No. I mean I didn't call you here for any work. I just wanted to ask you if you would like to have lunch outside with me today." I said trying to sound normal. " You know today is Saturday and it's half day. So office time is already over."

"Yeah sure. Let me get my stuffs first."she replied.

"Okay. I'll wait for you at the parking area." I said smiling widely.

Then she left my office. I quickly collected my stuffs, wore my coat and left the office.

Now I'm waiting at the parking lot for her. After a few minutes I saw her walk towards me with her office bag.

When she came near me I said, "shall we go now?" And she just nodded.

I took her bag from her and kept it on the back seat. Then I opened the door for her and she got into the car. After then I went to the driver seat, Started the car and drove off.

On the way, we both were so silent. I kept staring at her secretly from time to time. I wanted to hold her hand but didn't dare to ask for it.

After like 10 mins, we arrived at a nearby restaurant. I parked the car, got out of it first and opened the door for her again. I streched my hand, waiting for her to take it. She just smiled at me, hold my hand and came out of the car. Then we went into the restaurant.

We found a suitable seat for us. I pulled out the chair for her and helped her to sit. Then I sat across her.
