CHAPTER 19

A/n pov:

Gauri was in the kitchen making dinner while kavya was helping her.

Kavya: now gauri put some turmeric powder inside the paneer

She was about to pick the jar when she saw it empty

Gauri: di...it's empty

Kavya: oh god...I told maid maanti to refill the jar seems like she forgot it...now I have to go to store room to fetch the powder..

Gauri: it's ok di, I'll go and bring it

Kavya: are you sure Gauri?

Gauri: I am

Kavya: okay go straight and turn left then right, the centre on is the store room

Gauri: okay..

She replied and left that place

Gauri was coming back after taking the packet when her gaze went towards the same door which she came across when she first came in this mansion but this time it was Slightly opened..

Curiosity led out gauri to go towards that door...she wanted to know what's inside the room...

She reached near the handle and was almost about to opened it when a hand grabbed her causing her to flinched and turned around

Neel was standing while glaring her who gulped under his strong glaring gaze..

Neel: didn't I told you not to come here...

He spoke while still glaring her and gauri replied

Gauri: but w-what's inside this room??why can't I go inside??what's that you don't wan--

Neel: when I say no then it means no... don't poke your nose where it doesn't belongs

Gauri felt a pang in her heart and looked down when Neel realised he overreacted on Gauri..

He sighed and gently grabs her shoulder

Neel: Gauri I- you trust me right...

Gauri simply nods and Neel continues

Neel: look there are certain things which I cannot explain but...it's better if you stay away from those things..hmm?

Gauri: okay...

Neel: and I'm sorry for my behaviour but try to understand me...

Gauri: okay...then...I'll go anyway...I have to go in kitchen

Neel: okay..

Gauri didn't says anything leave that place while neel just watch her disappearing figure..

He turned around and stares the door..

He opens the door and finally enters to see untouched room which seemed like belonged to a woman....

He moved forward and reached in front of the a big portrait of a man and woman hugging each other...

Suddenly his eyes turns dark and he spoke

Neel: words can't describe how much I hate you...even though you left but your scars still remained on...me..

He turns around and continues

Neel: this time I'll get back what's mine..

Meanwhile~

Gauri was kneeling dough while constantly thinking about that door...she was now more curious about what's behind that door...

Gauri: Mr sehgal almost yelled at me... I don't know why but I have a feeling that something is off with this mansion...But what...

Time skips~

Neel was getting ready for the office while trying to fixing his tie...
He wan unable to give it a perfect shape when gauri entered and saw him struggling

She softly sighs and went near him who wasn't paying attention anywhere

Gauri: laiye hum bana dete hai ache se..

( Give me..I'll fix it)

Though Neel doesn't used to take help of anyone but this time he didn't protested as he don't want to get late for the office

Neel: okay..

Gauri smiled and starts making his tie while neel just stared her face..
Her hair strands were coming on her face which was adding charms on it.

He finally noticed her facial features which was comprise of perfect leaf shaped lips, slim nose, charcoal eyes and well shaped eyebrows..

Suddenly gauri looks up and their eyes met for a jiffy...there was a moment of spark when gauri was the first one to averted her gaze

Gauri: well...it's fixed...you can look in the mirror if you want

Neel also snapped back into reality and spoke

Neel: okay... thanks

Gauri smiled and Neel went to check it on the mirror, it was perfectly fine..

He turned around and spoke

Neel: I'll be leaving then..

Gauri: okay

He nodded and left that place while Gauri just stood there and thought

Gauri's thought: whether you tell me or not.. I'll find it..
