Chapter 38

Requested by my dearest... one update before I go to sleep.

"I am glad that you look healthier." Jungkook said as they were walking back to the hospital to get their car.

"It's all because of the food you sent."

"It's actually Yugyeom who picked the food." Jungkook said.

"Oh." Jin responded. So his thoughts about them was true then.

Jungkook noticed silence from Jin but even though he wants to say something, it's a little bit awkward still, so he also remind silent.

"Will you be waiting for Yugyeom?" Jin asked.

"He has his own car. He can drive around by himself."

"I see. Since both of you live in the same place and have the same schedule, how come you bring two cars?" Jin asked out of curiosity.

Jungkook stopped in his tracks. Jin also stopped and looked at Jungkook with a confused look on his face.

"Did I say something wrong?" Jin asked.

"Me and Yugyeom don't actually live together." Jungkook said.

Jin was surprised with the response. "Oh, but that day when I saw you both---"

"He was teasing me that day and he just went to my building without me knowing." Jungkook said remembering the day they have met Jin when he was jogging during his day off.

"Teasing you?" Jin asked out of curiosity.

"Well...uhm...it's something he always does. He's like an old brother who will always bully you because he knows some things about you. So he'll always use it against you. That kind of relationship."

"B-brother?" Jin asked with wide eyes.

Then it finally clicked! Jungkook realized what is happening!

"W-wait! So you think Yugyeom and I are together?" Jungkook asked with a surprise look on his face.

"Y-yes." Jin answered shyly.

"That's why." Jungkook said with a smirk.

"W-what?" Jin asked feeling like a deer caught in red light.

"Yugyeom is my ex." Jungkook answered.

"An ex?"

"Yes. We tried when I was in Singapore. However, I broke up with him because I can't bring myself to like him more than a friend. We only dated for 3 months. We never even... uhm... slept together." Jungkook said with a fake cough.

"Oh."

"Y-yeah. Y-you were my last." Jungkook said. "I never slept with anyone after you." He continued looking at Jin's eyes.

Jin blushed remembering that night. He was Jungkook's last and Jungkook was his first. He gave himself to Jungkook that night and it was still clear in his mind.

"Y-you r-remembered?" Jin asked.

"I told you multiple times that night that I was not drunk, didn't I? I remember clearly everything even after all those years and I was not able to erase that in my head." Jungkook then looked away, fearing for him to feel more inappropriate emotions in front of Jin. "I was never able to touch anyone without remembering you and that night." He said.

Jin also looked away, feeling different emotions all at the same time. He's also feeling regret, fear, anger, sadness, pain, and love. He was mad at him but he still did it with him that night. Same as Jungkook, the night they did that was still fresh for him but it was not his last with anyone. Unlike with Jungkook, he tried to erase those memories but they can never be erased. That was the first time he appeared raw to Jungkook and gave him his all.
