Chapter 15

"Are you okay, Tae?" Yoongi asked Taehyung as soon as their duty was completed.

"Y-yeah. Jungkook messaged me."

"What was it about?"

"Seokjin. He said the latter left Busan without telling him." Taehyung said worried about the two. He left Jungkook telling him he needs to fix things with Seokjin and the kid also mentioned to him two days ago that he feels empty without his bestfriend. Taehyung thought it might be because they have been together for a long time but Jungkook said he is sure it is more than that.

"Where did he go?" Yoongi asked.

"I am not sure yet. I will call Jungkook after our shift." Taehyung said and looked at the time. "2 more hours." He said then went back in checking their patients.

Yoongi looked at him, unsure if Tae is worried of Jin or Jungkook more. He knows that him and Jungkook had a misunderstanding before they left Busan because of Jin and Jungkook's relationship with Jimin.

He can talk to him probably over soju when they get home.

Jin woke up early the next day so decided to buy something in the nearest convenient store for breakfast. He remembered checking their apartment's cabinet and the place doesn't have anything. He put it in his list to do some grocery shopping today.

It was still dark when he left their apartment. He quickly checked some food he can cook for the day, something that will suffice the stomach of 4 people.

"I think 2 boxes of pancakes will do." He said to himself, taking 2 boxes of pancakes from the shelf. He also bought 1 tray of eggs, 1 honey syrup, 1 chocolate syrup and 1 strawberry syrup as he is not sure which one is the preferred syrup of his housemates.

He also took one whole butter from the fridge.

He then saw a banana milk which is Jungkook's favorite. He was about to get one out of habit, but realized he won't be feeding Jungkook.

He shook his head and put the bottle back to the shelf.

When he came back to the apartment, Namjoon was probably still asleep as the place is still quiet.

He started preparing the breakfast he will cook and made sure to clean anything that he will use after.

Namjoon woke up when he smelt butter. He was sure someone is cooking and he is cooking it deliciously. He went to the shower area to clean himself before checking the kitchen.

He leaned on the doorway of the kitchen watching Seokjin cook.

"It's not a usual sight for me to see someone cooking in the morning."

"Oh! I am sorry! I just wanted to make something for breakfast as I woke up early." Jin said when he saw him.

"It's fine. Don't be sorry. I told you, you can use the kitchen. I just hope you cooked a lot for hungry eaters. The two should be home soon and I'm sure they'll be starving as soon as they smell what you are cooking." Namjoon said looking at what Jin was cooking.

"Yup, I bought 2 boxes. I think it should be fine."

"Okay. It's not common for us to have breakfast here, so this is a new sight for us in the morning." Namjoon said smiling at Jin and the latter smiled back.

As soon as they stepped on their floor, Taehyung and Yoongi smelt the delicious smell of butter.

"That smells nice. Is that from our apartment." Yoongi asked.

"I hope not, because Namjoon can't cook." Taehyung said.

When they opened the door to their apartment, the aroma was more prominent and that's when they confirmed that it was indeed from their apartment.

They looked at each other worried sick about what Namjoon did to the apartment.

They both ran to check on the kitchen and were surprised to see someone with Namjoon as they were laughing together.

They know that Namjoon never brought anyone in their apartment, that's his own number 1 rule. When they peaked at the kitchen they were immediately seen by Namjoon.

"Oh! You both are here!" He said taking the attention of the person cooking.

"Hyungs?" Seokjin said as soon as he saw who were the two. "They were your housemates?" He asked Namjoon.

"So no need for introduction, right?" Namjoon said smiling. "Tae, Yoongi, remember I told you about a new housemate that will arrive this week?"

"No, you didn't." Yoongi said and Namjoon realized he must have forgotten.

"Seokjin is our new housemate?" Taehyung realized.

"Yes!" Namjoon said happily.

"Good morning, hyungs!" Seokjin said bowing to them with a nervous smile. He needs to talk to Taehyung as he doesn't want Jungkook to know where he is staying. "I cooked breakfast." He said after.

"Great! I'm starving the moment I smelt the aroma of butter. I got nervous thinking it was Namjoon-hyung." Yoongi said sitting at the dining table where the pancakes were set up.

"Y-yeah, m-me too." Taehyung said still looking at Jin.

Jin smiled at him nervously.

All of them sat the dining table and Jin was blushing because Taehyung never removed his eyes on him.

"When did you arrive, Seokjin?" Yoongi asked him.

"J-just yesterday. Namjoon tour me around the place. He also promised to tour me around here today. Places we were not able to visit yesterday." Seokjin said.

"You guys can come, but I know you might be tired from---"

"I will come." Taehyung suddenly said.

Both Yoongi and Namjoon looked at him with how fast he answered and knowing Taehyung, he doesn't like going around during his rest day, but this time, it's different.

"Okay. Then the three of us can actually go together. We can set it up later so you can still sleep, Tae." Namjoon said.

"I can do some grocery for lunch as I planned on cooking something." Seokjin said.

"I can come with you." Taehyung said.

Namjoon looked at him again. The lazy child suddenly becomes active. He thought.

"You can rest, hyung. I can work my way around." Jin said.

"I can rest after." Taehyung said then chew his food again.

Jin noticed the special attention of Taehyung to him but he can ask it later. He is happy though that he did not need to adjust a lot since Taehyung and Yoongi were already familiar to him.

He smiled at Taehyung then ate the pancake he prepared.
