Chapter 3

Updating this just because I am happy today...

"Are you sure that you wouldn't want us to take you home?" Sunghoon asked Jungkook and Jin.

"We should be good, hyung. We can take a bus from here. Your house was also on a different way, so it's fine." Jin said.

"Thank you for the dinner." Jungkook said bowing at them.

"Don't be too formal, Jungkook. You are like a family to us." Jimin said holding Jungkook's arm again.

"Thank you, hyungs. We'll get going now." Jin said.

As they get on the bus, Jin observed that Jungkook was unusually quiet.

"Are you okay?" Jin asked him.

Jungkook suddenly realized that he did not talk to Jin and would just give him nods whenever he would say something. He felt guilty for Jin, as he was thinking about Jimin the whole time. The latter seemed to be mad at him after they fitted their suit and he doesn't like that feeling.

"Ah... yeah... sorry, I was just thinking."

"Did you not like the food?" Jin asked. "Next time I'll tell hyung not to think about us."

"No, the food is okay." Jungkook said smiling at Jin, or at least trying to smile.

"Okay. Were you... uhm... probably jealous of hyung still?"

Jungkook looked at Jin. He suddenly laughed. "What are you saying? Jimin-hyung is already married and my crush for him was years ago. Remember he rejected me? I have already moved on from that day." He said hoping to make Jin believe.

"I see."

"We're here." Jungkook said, distracting Jin from where his thoughts may take him. "Let me carry that." Taking the suit from Jin as they walked towards their house.

The walk was silent again. Jin has a lot in his mind and did not bother Jungkook as he seemed to be out in his thoughts again.

"This is me." Jin said as they arrived in front of their house. "Thank you, Kook. I'll get going now."

"Jin..." Jungkook said holding his wrist. "Can I stay over? Do you still have my clothes there?" He asked Jin. It seems like he doesn't want to be alone for tonight or he might lose his mind thinking about what Jimin and Sunghoon will be doing for tonight

"Yeah. Why would I throw them out?" Jin asked with a chuckle. "Are you sure you are okay?"

"Yeah. Let me just call dad."

"Okay. I'll inform my parents you'll be staying over. Mom will surely be excited." He said then entered the house, leaving Jungkook on his own.

Jungkook sighed when Jin left him outside. Times like this, he just wants to be with Jin. He's like a security pillow for him. He looked at Jin and smiled. No matter how stressful his day may be, being beside Jin can make him feel lighter. He hopes he can tell Jin what is happening but he promised Jimin he won't tell his brother. He also wouldn't do anything to make Jimin mad at him.

He looked at his phone and was about to call his mom when a message popped up.

See you at your graduation. - Taehyung

He smiled and instead of calling his mom, he called his cousin and just sent a text message to his mom.

"What took you so long?" Jin asked him as soon as he emtered his room. It looks like Jin already showered as he's already in his pajama.

"I talked to Taehyung over the phone."

"Taehyung?" Jin asked.

"My cousin. He's currently doing his internship in Seoul but he said he'll be here on graduation. I got excited so I talked to him."

"That's good. It seemed like it lifted your spirit anyway. You seemed happy." Jin said.

"That's not true!" Jungkook said hugging Jin and pulling him on the bed. "You make me happy." He whispered to Jin.

"G-get off me! Y-you still haven't changed."

"I'll change later." Jungkook said finding comfort in smelling Jin while backhugging him. "I'm happy I have you. Thank you, Jin, for always being a friend to me."

"Y-you're welcome."

"You smell so nice. You don't smell like cigarettes."

"Why would I even smell like cigarettes? I don't smoke."

"I know, that's why I love your smell."

"Hey, get up. You're almost falling asleep! You need to shower."

"I will shower later."

"No! Do it now." Jin said pulling away the hands that are encircled around its waist.

"Fine!" Jungkook said then stood up, getting some of his clothes from Jin's cabinet then going straight to the bathroom.

Jin breathed out as soon as he was sure that Jungkook was inside. It felt like he was holding his breath for a long time.

This is the exact reason why he feels so in love with this guy and he isn't sure how he'd be able to let go.

Jin just focused on his school works as they have one more paper they need to submit before graduation. He is not sure if Jungkook was able to complete his but he'll check with him later after he showers.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked when he saw Jin's back on him, typing on his desktop.

"Finishing our paper. Are you done with yours?" Jin asked not glancing at Jungkook.

"Almost. It should be submitted on Friday, right?"

"Yes." Jin said as he typed in all the things he can remember.

Jungkook took his bag and pulled his laptop. Somehow, this is also the reason why he needs Jin in his life. Jin is like a reminder to him that he has a life he needs to face. He is so sure that without Jin, his life will be a mess.

Jin looked at him and immediately blushed when he saw Jungkook not wearing a shirt.

"Why aren't you wearing a shirt?"

"Why? We usually sleep together with me just wearing my boxers." Jungkook said.

"Yes! But when lights are off!"

Jungkook decided to tease him more. "Fine, I'll wear my shirt." He then went near Jin. "If you say you love my abs." He said and Jin blushed more. Jungkook laughed so hard seeing his friend being flustered.

"Whatever! Stop teasing me!" Jin said angrily.

"Fine! I won't. Let's finish our papers and go to sleep, hm?"

He said then wore his shirt.

Jungkook looked at Jin and realized how different Jin was from Jimin. Jin is very innocent while Jimin is liberated.

Jin is focused with his studies, while Jimin is smart and intelligent and can pass all exams without even studying.

Jin is focus on his goals towards graduating and working, while Jimin, he is a happy-go-lucky person.

Jin looked at Jungkook. "Yah! Why aren't you doing your paper?"

"Just thinking." Jungkook said.

"What?"

Jungkook looked at him again. "N-nothing." He said then focused on his laptop again while Jin just ignored him.
