"Dr. Kim, Dr. Shin wanted to see you." Nurse Choi said when Jin entered the emergency room.

"Did he tell what about?"

"Not really." Nurse Choi said.

"I see. Okay. I will be in his office but page me in case there's an emergency." Jin said as there's no other doctor on duty yet.

"Dr. Kim! Good morning." Dr. Shin said as he saw Seokjin.

"Hello, Dr. Shin. I was told that you need me."

"I certainly do. Well, the Trauma department is extending and we need someone to help Jungkook. I was wondering if you are fine being transferred to that department starting next week. He could use a hand since we're still recruiting for people."

Jin smiled at him. "I am happy for the offer, Dr. Shin and I will be glad to start in the trauma department as soon as possible."

"That is great. We'll also start tagging patients from emergency to Trauma moving forward so that means, there'll be not much of difference with the work that you do."

"I understand. Thank you for the offer, Dr. Shin."

"You are welcome. You can go back to your shift. I will ask Dr. Jeon to brief you about the Trauma Department this week so that you'll have a smooth transition. Since his schedule is morning and yours is evening, you can take your day off tomorrow and transition back to morning shift. Will that be fine with you?"

"Yes, Dr. Shin." Jin said with a smile, happy that he'll finally be able to work with Jungkook.

Their relationship evolved somehow in 2 weeks and he is happy how it goes. He was able to trust Jungkook again and the latter is also doing his best as he observed. Jungkook even updates him every now and then, like the old times, and whenever their schedules meet, they go out and even get to have games together or go to the mall together.

On his way back to the emergency room, he passed by Jungkook's office. He checked his phone and he was right, Jungkook is already at work. He was deciding if he should knock or not when he saw in his peripheral view that someone's walking towards him.

He looked at the person and immediately smiled upon seeing who it was.

"Good morning!" Jin said cheerfully.

"Hello, Dr. Kim? Missed me?" Jungkook said with a joke.

Jin rolled his eyes playfully. "Whatever."

"Come inside. I just had my rounds. Are you about to go home?" Jungkook said as he opened his office's door and let Jin come inside.

"Just 2 more hours and I should be out unless there'll be more patients. By the way, Dr. Shin asked me about the Trauma department." Jin said happily.

Jungkook smiled at him. "He did? What's your response?" He asked even though he is sure that Jin accepted it.

"I will be transferred next week." Jin said.

"That means, I get to work with you everyday?" Jungkook asked.

"Well, not really, because we might have different schedules, but yes, we will work together again."

"That's great news! When should we celebrate?"

"You are on off tomorrow, right? Dr. Shin also gave me a day off for change of schedule. Should I cook something at your apartment tonight?"

"That sounds great! I'll see you after your shift." Jin said before leaving Jungkook's office.
