1. Without knowing your individuality, it is impossible to lead a balanced life or diet without harm to your health. Individualism is the basis for a balanced life (fr. 14. 3) (Author).
2. Individuality and source of health deterioration. Modern epidemiological studies* have shown the dependence of health and success in the life of the population on the shaping influence of Western culture. Based on these studies, a relationship has been shown between the progressive deterioration of the population's health status and a lifestyle centered on materialism [1]. The individuality proclaimed by Western society, instead of the expected freedom to use one's right to choose to lead a lifestyle that meets the individual needs of a person, introduced only identity (uniformity) into his way of life [2]. Identity without taking into account individuality violates the integrity of an individual, which leads to a violation of human harmony, and therefore to various mental disorders, in particular anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and compulsive overeating.
* Epidemiology (from ancient Greek, ἐπιδημία - on the people; λόγος - study) is a field of medicine that studies the patterns of occurrence and spread of infectious diseases in human society and develops measures to combat them. In modern literature, the term "epidemiology" is also used for non-infectious (cardiovascular, mental, etc.) diseases [3].
3. Restoring integrity. Despite the efforts of specialists in personality psychology, the individual cannot be known by science [4]. Therefore, this responsibility is transferred to the individual himself [2]. An individual who has realized the importance of an individual approach to maintaining a lifestyle (diet) that brings health and success in life will want to take an interest in understanding his individuality. Interest in understanding one's individuality can bring joy, pleasure, and surprise if a person listens to the recommendations of specialists in the fields of morphology, physiology, biochemistry, and human psychology.
