Fred strides into the local police station, his demeanor radiating determination. The officers exchange uneasy glances as he approaches the front desk.
The Police Chief, undeterred by Fred's intimidating presence, steps forward.
"What brings you here, Mr. Meindhart?" he asks, his tone neutral but his eyes betraying a hint of wariness.
"I'm here to bail someone out," Fred replies, his voice as cold and unwavering as his gaze.
"Pardon, Mr. Meindhart?" The Police Chief seeks clarification.
Fred's stare intensifies. "Do I have to repeat myself? I'm here to pay a fine for Mr. Marci."
A nearby officer interjects, "Marci? That boy was caught handling drugs in the corner of the streets..."
Fred's jaw tightens, but he maintains his composure. "Regardless, I'm here to settle his affairs."
The Police Chief's expression shifts as realization dawns on him. "Mr. Meindhart, I wasn't aware of your connection to Marci. However, his involvement in criminal activities cannot be overlooked."
Fred's gaze hardens, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "You don't seem to understand, Chief. Marci works for me, and I take care of my own. If you refuse to release him, there will be consequences."
The Chief squares his shoulders, refusing to be intimidated. "I can't simply let him walk free, especially considering the severity of his crimes."
Fred leans in closer, his tone icy. "You have two options, Chief. Either you release Marci now, or you'll find yourself dealing with more than just a simple arrest. "
The tension in the room is palpable as the Chief weighs his options, knowing that crossing paths with someone like Fred could have dire consequences.
"Think carefully, I know your every detail of your little secret... You don't want your wife to know wouldn't you?" Fred smirked at him
