It's been nearly a month since I moved in with Ryker and everyday has been an adventure to say the least. He's been incredibly supportive and patient with me as I got used to the fact of living away from my pack and family. Even though I called my parents and siblings daily, it wasn't the same as seeing them face to face every day as I did when I lived with them. I missed them, but my friends Luna and Benson have been a great help in keeping my spirits up while being away from my family.

The transition to living with Ryker has been both exciting and challenging. It was strange not bumping into one of my siblings or parents as they rushed to get to the bathroom or kitchen to start their day. It took some time to adjust to the new environment and routine, but Ryker's constant support and patience helped me navigate through this transition period. Luna and Benson also played a significant role in helping me feel more at ease and preventing feelings of homesickness. Their presence and friendship have been a source of comfort during this adjustment period.

"PJ?" I blinked and looked up when I heard my name called and saw Luna standing in the doorway with a raised brow, "you alright?"

"Yeah, why?" I asked giving her a smile as she walked in and sat across from me on the island.

"Well for starters you've been staring into space for a while and when I called your name you didn't reply," she stated making me give her a sheepish smile as I scratched the back of my neck.

"It's just...I still can't believe I'm here, you know?" I admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed at my own vulnerability. Luna reached out and gently squeezed my hand, a comforting gesture that immediately eased some of the anxiety I had been feeling.

"I get it, PJ. This is a big change for you, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed," she reassured me, her soft voice filled with understanding. "But you're not alone. Ryker and the rest of us are here for you every step of the way."

Living with Ryker has been a transformative experience for me, filled with moments of growth and independence. Being away from my family has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and learn to rely on myself more. Ryker's constant encouragement and support have been instrumental in helping me build my confidence and take on new challenges. Additionally, my bonds with Luna and Benson have deepened as they have been my pillars of strength through this transition.

One of the most positive aspects of living with Ryker is the newfound sense of independence that I have developed. Being away from my family has forced me to rely on myself more and make decisions independently. While it has been a challenging adjustment, it has also been incredibly empowering. Ryker's unwavering support and encouragement have given me the confidence to explore new opportunities and take risks that I may not have considered before. This newfound independence has allowed me to grow as an individual and discover strengths and capabilities that I may not have realized I possessed.

Furthermore, living with Ryker has provided me with the opportunity to strengthen my bonds with Luna and Benson. These two have been by my side through thick and thin, offering their support and companionship. Their presence has been a source of comfort and stability in this new chapter of my life. Together, we have navigated the challenges of living away from our families and have formed a close-knit group that relies on each other for emotional support and guidance. The sense of camaraderie and unity that we share has been invaluable in helping me feel less alone during moments of homesickness and longing for the familiarity of my family.

However, despite the positive aspects of living with Ryker, there have been moments of loneliness and longing for the closeness of my family. The distance has made me acutely aware of the importance of family bonds and the sense of security that comes with being surrounded by loved ones. While Ryker, Luna, and Benson have provided me with a sense of belonging and support, there are times when I yearn for the familiar comforts of home. These feelings of homesickness serve as a reminder of the deep connections that I have with my family and the significant role they play in my life.

"Why don't we go see them?" Luna said making me look at her and she smiled, "I know Bella's birthday is coming up so why don't we surprise her?"

"You'd actually go with me to surprise her?" I asked and she rolled her eyes.

"Well duh, I'm your best friend," she replied sassily making me grin shaking my head.

"Don't let Benson hear you say that," I chuckled making her smirk.

"Well, he'll have to get used to it because I was your friend first before you guys met,"she said playfully.

As we made plans to surprise my family for my sister's birthday, I couldn't help but reflect on how much my life had changed since moving in with Ryker, Luna, and Benson. At first, the idea of living with three virtual strangers was intimidating, but now, they had become like a second family to me.

Living with Ryker had been a journey of growth, independence, and self-discovery. I had learned so much about myself and what I was capable of in the short time that I had been living with them. Ryker's calm demeanor and unwavering support had given me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Luna's infectious energy and adventurous spirit had pushed me to explore different opportunities and embrace change. And Benson's quiet reassurance and steady presence had grounded me in moments of doubt and uncertainty.

Of course, living away from my family had its challenges. There were moments of loneliness and homesickness, where I longed for the familiar comfort of my parents and siblings. But the positive aspects of this experience far outweighed the difficulties. The support and encouragement of Ryker, Luna, and Benson had been instrumental in helping me navigate this new chapter of my life with confidence and resilience.

As we prepared to surprise my family, I felt a sense of gratitude for the connections I had formed with my new "family away from home." Despite the initial hesitations and uncertainties, I had found a sense of belonging and acceptance with Ryker, Luna, and Benson. They had become my pillars of strength and sources of inspiration, guiding me through the ups and downs of this new chapter in my life.

Moving forward, I was excited to continue exploring new opportunities and deepening my relationships with those who had become my support system. I was grateful for the growth and self-discovery that had come from living with Ryker, Luna, and Benson, and I knew that this experience had shaped me in ways that would have a lasting impact on my future.

As we pulled up to my family's house, I felt a wave of anticipation and excitement. I couldn't wait to see the look on my sister's face when she sees me standing at the door, ready to surprise her. And as Luna, Ryker, and Benson stood beside me, I knew that I was surrounded by a new kind of family – one that had helped me grow, become more independent, and discover more about myself than I ever thought possible. The journey had been challenging at times, but it had also been filled with moments of joy, laughter, and love. And for that, I was forever grateful.
