Chapter Forty Six Family Lose Season 1, Episode 9 "J-Jonathan. I need you." ====================================
Clark had rushed Jade and Jordan to the fortress after they both began to decline rapidly. "Jordan and Jade have been infected with Kryptonite it's effecting their breathing." Clark tells the hologram of his dad. "They're in respiratory distress." His father tells him. "Why?" Clark asks. "The Kryptonite is causing their lungs to fill with fluid, as they condense large quantities of air..." His father starts. "They're cooling it like I do." Clark finishes. "Can you get the Kryptonite out of them?" "Likely. But only in the same way we have with you in the passed, and how we did with Jade before." His father tells him. Clark speeds back over to where Jade and Jordan were waiting. The two turn to see the look on their dads face. "What?" Jordan asks. "Come here. Come here." Clark tells them, placing a hand on both their shoulders. "We're going to have to burn the kryptonite out of your systems." "Burn it? How?" Jordan asks. "With heat. With some immense heat." Clark tells him. Jordan starts freaking out but Jade takes a deep breath and turns to him. "Jordan, I've already had to go through this once, it hurts like hell but it's soon over. We have to do this if we want to get better." Jade tells him. "I'm right here, you're both going to take my hands and squeeze as hard as you need to. Okay? You can do this." Clark tells them, as they both take his hands. The burning process then starts, causing both of the Kent kids to scream.

Amelia walks into the house with her family closely behind her. "I'm just going to go upstairs and get changed then I'll be back." Amelia tells them. "Okay, Bubba." Danny says, before Amelia heads upstairs. While upstiars, Amelia had already gotten changed into her black nike sweatpants and matching hoodie, when she was sat on the bed messaging Sarah about the Musical Revue, which other then what happened to Jade after the performance, had gone off without a hit, both girls incredible proud of their performances. After a few moments, Amelia told Sarah she had to go, before putting her phone on charge and leaving it on her bedside table, before heading downstairs. "Okay, ready for movie night. And cause it's my choice we are watching Mamma Mia." Amelia says, happily walking into the living room, before that all changes when she sees the sad looks of her family. Her mother and sister, having teared stained cheeks. "What- What happened? I was only upstairs for ten minutes?" "Honey, uhm- Grandad Jack, he- he... He's passed away." Nora tells her. "Wh-What? No. He can't have." Amelia says. "We would have known he was dying. He would have told us." "He didn't want us to worry, Bubba. He was really sick, only Grandma Maggie knew." Danny tells her, tears also in his eyes. "We only saw them last week when they came down to stay for a couple weeks. He was fine." Amelia says, refusing to believe her grandad was gone. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart." Nora says, as Amelia shakes her head. "I-I need to go upstairs." Amelia says, before turning on her heels and running back up the stairs she had just come down.

A little while agter Clark had rushed his siblings to the fortress, Jonathan walked out onto the porch where his grandfather was sitting. "Just waiting to hear back from my team, then we'll get everything straightened out with Jade, Jordan and your dad." Sam tells him, as Jonathan leans against the railing. "Little late for that, isn't it?" Jonathan asks. "Why'd you do it? Why'd you built those weapons to hurt my dad?" "Your father is the most powerful being this world has ever known. My job is keeping us safe. Which means being prepared for any scenario, no matter how unlikely. You and I, we're not like your dad, or even Jordan and Jade." Sam tells him, standing up and going over to lean on the railing beside Jonathan. "They're my brother and sister. We're triplets." Jonathan says. "Yes, but the moment their powers surfaced, you and them began walking three very different paths." Sam says. "It scares you doesn't it?" Jonathan asks. "It does." Sam says. "You know, I think you're wrong. I think you're wrong about you and I being alike." Jonathan tells him. "How so?" Sam asks. "I could never be scared of my family. No matter what powers they have." Jonathan says. "Jonathan, you haven't seen the things I have." Sam tells him. "Yeah, you're right." Jonathan says, before standing up straight and face his grandfather, taking a step forward. "But in the end, I don't think that would matter Because I'd still trust them, nd you would still be a coward." Jonathan then walks back into the house, just as his phone goes off. He pulls it out of his pocket to see Amelia calling him. "Hey, you." Jonathan says, with a smile. "J-Jonathan. I need you."
