A/N: The moment we've all been waiting for?????
"What was it?" I asked her.
"What was what?" She responded.
"What was it that you saw in her?" I asked dully not thinking straight.
"Nothing anymore, But you can't help who you love you know?" She says staring at me a little longer than normal. Letting her eyes linger on mine.
There Jill Jamie Roord was in all her glory, Like some Knight in shining armor. I couldn't help but think that I'd been surviving and staying on ten toes, because of her. She was my light in the dark.
I glanced down at her lips and saw her nod her head. So I made the move. Our lips moved in sync and I kid you not it felt like I'd known this girl forever. Like I know everything about her. Just from the first kiss sparks were flying and I became okay, with everything in the moment. I'd felt this ocean wash over my body, making me feel whole again.
"Man, that was definitely in my top 25 best kiss I've ever experienced," I say looking at her, inches away from her face.
"In the number one spot, I hope?" Jill said
I just pulled her face in and kissed her again, This one lingering a bit longer than the last. "Second best now." I smile at her as I pull away.
"So the song's name is White Ferrari, you said?" Jill asked.
"You heard that?" I asked her embarrassed.
"Yeah, it was cute, I liked it." She said staring at me in the eyes, not dropping eye contact for a second.
"So the song's cute? Does that make the songwriter cute?" I asked with a smirk and a shrug.
"Mhm... I wouldn't call the songwriter that but something along those words." She smirked at me with a giggle.
I smile in pride. My stomach was turning absolutely upside down, But I had to hide that fact.
We'd walked all over Paris talking about what's been happening in our lives since we last saw each other. We'd eventually made it up the stairs of the hotel that I was staying in. We would have taken the elevator but I think we were both stalling before our night together had to end.
We'd gotten to my hotel door and we'd both went mute. Not wanting to say anything or move to cause me to go into the room and close the door on her.
I stared at her not knowing whether to invite her in or Tell her goodnight.
"So... Are you gonna invite me in?" She asked with a smile, she could tell I was nervous.
"Yeah, Yeah. Would you like to come in?" I asked her. She chuckled and opened the hotel door and I followed.
We eventually figured out the clothes situation, and she'd ended up in my shorts and T-shirt, While I had my pajamas. But now we had to figure out the bed situation. Or at least I thought.
Jill hopped in the bed, while I stood at the end of it staring. I didn't know if I was lying on the bed... Or the floor.
"Why are you staring at the bed like that?" She asked confused at what I was doing.
"You want me to- to lay? On the bed?" I said with a high-pitched voice.
"Where else? The floor?" She laughed.
"Alright," I said and shrugged jumping on the bed and getting comfortable.
I see her scrolling on her phone dozing off, and her head slowly starts to fall on my shoulder. I Move my head away and smile down at her. She instantly looked up at me, as if she had done something wrong.
"What, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing, don't you think we're moving a bit fast and all?" I say smirking close to the end of my sentence not even being able to say it with a straight face. She just slapped my arm as she knew I was joking. "goodnight" I said as I kissed the side of her head and got more comfortable.
"goodnight" she replied quietly.
We'd just woke up and I looked around the room not finding Jill in the same spot she was last night—my arms. I began to slightly worry until I heard the bathroom open and out walked Jill. "Oh good Hudson you're up, I was wondering if you'd like to get breakfast?" She asked.
"yeah, do you have a place in mind?" I asked.
"Yeah just down the road." She said and I nodded, beginning to get out of bed and dressed.
We'd made it to the cafe, and it was quite nice. The cashier took our order and we found a spot. Me and Jill hadn't spoken since the Hotel.
"So..." Jill said.
"So," I said.
"Should we talk about what happened? Last night, us?" she said. I caught her eyes for a moment, but nearing the end of her sentence I lost them.
"I don't know... Do you want to?" I asked. clasping my hands together, nervously. Was she going to tell me, she didn't mean any of it? I was scared, I hated talking.
"Only if you want to Hudson." She said and put her hand over my hands, reassuring me it was okay.
"We can. What do you want to talk about?" I gulped back, nervous. Already dreading what she was going to tell me.
"I want this." she pointed back in forth between us. "To work. Even if we have to do long distance. But I need to know you're willing to put in the same work I am, Not be in Barcelona sleeping with other girls. Not that you would do that..." She said nervous. " And I want us to talk and trust each other. I don't wanna be just another one of those girls you used to be with... I want to have strings attached with you. Not just some call-up for an event."
"Me too," I said nodding along with her. Everything she said, I wanted to make sure she'd felt loved, Not what I'd shown those girls.
"Hudson, before we can be a thing, I need you to promise me something. Please." She spoke almost louder than a whisper. Almost as if she didn't even want to ask.
"Anything," I said confidently. I wanted to be with her. I would do anything for her.
"You have to... You have to stop drinking..." She spoke out nervous. Like I was a ticking time bomb. I almost wanted to say no. But I'd been waiting for this moment for too long. The alcohol had its run now it's our turn.
"Okay. I promise." I said and took a deep breath. She just stared at me, wondering what I was thinking.
"You have to promise me one thing though," I said, and it was now my turn to apply the pressure. although I figured she'd say yes, I still was nervous. "You have to let me plan the first date," I said.
"Deal," she said as she kissed my hand.
