Once I arrived back at my house, which was huge. Bigger than the one in New York that's for sure. I Facetimed Alex first, before I had to get ready. " HEY, Ale!" I say excited to see my sister. " Hey guys, how was your first day?" Before answering her question, I made a mental note to call Kelley after this. " It was Great, They were all so welcoming." I say. "that's good! Don't forget The day after tomorrow, You have to do a press conference, and do your physical with Arsenal." That's Alex, Always making sure I remember things. I secretly love it. "Gosh, what are you, my manager?" I say with a groan. " No, But I'm not letting you forget the important dates," she says back. " Alright, I gotta go. Bye Alex I love you!" I say. " Bye Hudson, I love you more!"

After this phone call, I instantly hopped on the phone with Kelley. " HEY KELLS!" I shout. " HEY HUDS" she shouts back. " What did I miss at training today?" I say, wondering what my old team is up to. "It was so Lit, In honor of you leaving we all snuck a drink or two before practice." She says, with a chuckle. " That is not fair, Man all always wanna do the fun stuff when I leave." I pout. " Well, then you shouldn't have left," she says in a joking manner. "All alright well I got to go!" I say back. "Wait a minute... Where do you think you're going, young lady?" Kelley says like she was my mom. Kelley and Alex were really overprotective of me. It gets annoying sometimes. "UGH! I'm going out with my new team." I say back annoyed. "Mhm. Did you let them know about your drinking problem?" she says back. " Yes Mom, Now Goodbye! I love you." I say back, just trying to get dressed for tonight. "I love you more, AND be safe, please, and thank you." She says back and then ends the Facetime.

At first, I was debating what to wear. I could wear a suit. I could wear casual. I could wear comfy? I think I am gonna go in a suit. I threw on a nice black suit, without a tie, and some Black Cat Jordan 4s. After that, I brushed my teeth again, because who knows? Might get lucky tonight.

After that, I'm out the door, and it's currently 7 pm. Once I got into my cab I texted the Arsenal Group Chat, letting them know I was on the way.

Arsenal vs WFC

Hudson: Hey, I'm on my way.

Katie: Me to

Beth: Me and vivianne are on the way.

Viv: Why do you have to say my full name?SMH

Leah: I'm almost there

Jill: Me and Kim are here

Stephy: Me and Catlin and Jen are walking in now.

I took the time in the cab to save all of their numbers.

Once I had arrived, I entered the pub, and immediately found the table where the Arsenal women were sitting. Once we were seated, Beth and Viv went to go get everyone drinks. " So you all wanna play 21 questions?" Kim says. "I'm down for whatever," I say in a cool-toned voice. "All right I'll start," Leah says. "Where are you from?" Once everyone says where they are from, it's eventually my turn. "Well, my dad is from America. But my mom is from Australia." I say. "Oh okay, so that's how you know Steph and Caitlin," Leah says finally realizing. "Yep," Me and Steph say in sync. "Okay, who's next?" Kim says. "ME!" Katie says. "Okay then, the floors are yours," Steph says. "Relationship status?" It was really 50/50 on relationship status. Now it was my turn to answer. " I don't really do relationships," I say. "Okay, so what do you do?" Katie says, clearly pushing past a barrier to growth. "I'm focusing on my career right now. I'm so busy I don't have time for anything else." I say. "But it's not all work and no play, I'm open to meeting new people and having fun," I add.

"I do hookups, or like friends with benefits," I say, a little shy of the reactions I might get back. "Make sense, relationships come with a lot," Katie says. "But hookups don't, and that's exactly why I love them!" I say, with a cheeky grin. By now, everyone was wasted. But for me, I was just getting started. I got up and went to the bar to get a drink. When I found a teammate sitting at the bar by themselves. So instead of being awkward, I guess I'll sit with her. "Hey," I say, sounding awkward. "Oh hey Hudson." she says. "right, I haven't properly introduced myself," she says with a thick Dutch accent shining through her newfound English one. "I'm Jill," she says. "Well, Jill... It's nice to meet you. Also, you missed out on 21 questions." I say back, "Okay, so fill me in. Tell me all the questions they asked. I'll answer them and so will you." I think I might like this Jill... "eh- erm... yeah for sure. So the first one was where are you from?" I say back, trying to get the previous thought out of my mind. " I'm from the Netherlands. If you couldn't tell by the accent. " What about you?" She says, as we both chuckle. " My dads are from America and my moms from Australia and-" she stops me before I ramble on about what national team I play on. " Hudson..." she says slowly and calmly. I think she could tell I was a bit stressed out. She interrupted me because she was trying to make me feel comfortable and calm me down. By speaking slowly and calmly, she was helping me to stay focused and focused on the conversation. She was also making sure I was taking my time and not rushing through my words.

So she took my hand into hers. Which definitely calmed my breathing. "I grew up in America," I say back in a more slower tone. " Guess we are both a couple of miles away from home." She says, "Yeah, looks like it." I say sighing, missing my old club. " All alright so the next question was, relationship status." she looks drawn back by this. But proceeds to answer anyway "I am in a relationship." Hearing this definitely just shocked a cord in my heart. " Oh really? Who?" something in me pushed. " Jana Fernandez, You might have heard of her?" I had no clue who she was. "Nope, but I'm sure our paths will cross eventually." I say, a bit disappointed. "so what about you?" she says. "I don't do relationships, just hookups, or friends with benefits," I say. "So just sex?" she says. "No, not JUST sex. It's more like I do a couple of things with a girl, but no rules. So I'm free to do whatever I want." I say. "Well, at least I know where you stand," she says with a smile. "Or should I say, lay?"She looked at me, and we held eye contact. I saw her moving forward. Until Beth told us everyone was leaving.

Shes cute...
