I was pulling up to the training grounds when I saw Catlin walking into the grounds all by herself. So I instantly rush into my parking spot, and get out of the car to walk with her. "Hey C-Dog!" I shout! "hi Hudson" she says. "Oh woah, why so down?" I say in confusion. "Katie might be getting back with Ruesha." she says slowly. "WHAT?" I yelled. "Shh," she shushed me. "I mean what?"I say. "Yeah," Catlin says disappointedly. "Hey don't worry, if she really likes you, she will come back to you," I say, trying to cheer this poor girl up.

"Same to you, Hudson." She says, which makes me give her a confused look. "What do you mean?" I say, still trying to figure out where this corresponds to me. "You'll see." Caitlin says, while grinning at me with a smirk "Let's get to training." I say, just shrugging it off. We walk into the locker room, and Jill is in the corner with Viv and Dann, talking about something. But when she catches my eyes on her, her face drops slightly. Which instantly just made me wanna ask what I did. But I just chose to ignore it. I can't have distractions.

After seeing Jill's face drop when she saw me, it kinda hurt. No. It hurts. A lot. But I just plan to ignore her for the rest of the day. I was actually starting to like Jill, which terrified the hell out of me. I'd find myself watching her stories, or looking at her profile. Only to find "the" Jana Fernandez on her page, or in her comments. Seems like they're in love. Great.

After that, I told Katie to come on. As I'm already a little upset, once we get into the gym, Katie tries to grab a workout sheet. I just wave her off and tell her we don't need it. Last time we didn't need it, so it's pointless to grab one again. "Alright McCabe, you know the drill." With that being said, me and McCabe stripped down to just training shorts and sports bras. "Alright, what's first?" Katie said, eager to get started. She and me both. "What's the rush?" I say just trying to get to Katie and understand what's going on in her head. I could tell something was wrong. "My ex, Rue. She wants to get back together." She says shyly.

"Do you wanna be with her, or... Caitlin?" I asked scared of the response I'd get. "Is it bad I don't know?" Katie says, with a shiver in her voice. "No, not at all. Believe it or not, I'm scared too." I say, not realizing what I just told Katie. "Why?" Katie looks at me confused. "No reason," I say instantly cutting her off, trying to change the subject. "It's your choice Katie, Rue, or Caitlin. But let me ask you this, Do you wanna go back over and possibly reread a chapter, Or start a fresh new one?" I say trying to give her the best advice to take her mind off my problems. "A fresh new one," Katie says. "Okay then, find the right time to tell her. Ask her on a date." I say, hoping Katie will be bold.

"Okay," she says determinedly. At least she got a happy ending. After all the talking we began doing our workouts. Every once and a while I'll see Jill glance my way. But she has a girlfriend. So what do those looks mean? Out of everyone, I started to fall for Jill, unknowingly. Why, what about Jill draws me in? I think to myself in my head, while doing pull-ups. That's when I glance across the room and get locked in with those green eyes, that always soften when I look into them. Jill was an open soul. A free soul.

People always say "I look free" but really I'm just a locked door no one can get to. But maybe Jill could. If she really wanted to. Maybe Jill has the key. But she chooses not to use it. If she asked what was on my mind, I think I'd have told her. I'd try to tell her anyway. After this, we all ran out to the pitch to do our drills. Me and Viv were working on our shooting drills, and Jill was working on footwork with Kim and Wally. After our drills were finished, I went to the pool to do ice therapy.

I saw Jill slowly enter the pool. Jill made me nervous. But why? That's when I really started to take in Jill's appearance. My eyes locked on her face. It was her eyes that drew me in. Her eyes were like I was falling backward into an endless pool. Drowning slowly but surely. After 15 minutes of silence, I got out and caught Jill's eyes, following my abs as I exited the pool.

I was on my way to the meeting after getting out of the locker room, when Jill ran up behind me. "Hey Hudson," she says Shyly. She knows I'm ignoring her. "Hey," I say back, not in the mood to talk to her. "Excited about the Aston Villa game?" she says. "Yeah, it's my debut," I say bluntly. After that the walk to the meeting was silent. She got the memo that I was ignoring her."Alright! So we're going to break down the basics! I have a new method to try this season. We assign partners to training. The partners were not decided by me but by our staff. They basically see who relates to whom. So not only will you be put in a different position as you, but someone who relates to you more than the rest of the group" Jonas says. "Alright first, Beth and Viv. Then Jill and Hudson. Katie and Caitlin..." and he continues with the rest of the group. After that, I grabbed my stuff out of the locker room walked to my car, and headed home to fall asleep. As much as I wanted to drink, I chose to hold my ground.
