Years after the karate war and their terrible childhoods, Robby and Tory had settled down and were working on correcting the mistakes and difficulties they went through as children with their own daughter, Hadley.

Tory woke up slowly one morning and glanced at the clock and the silent baby monitor and smiled, her daughter appeared to have finally settled into a good sleeping routine. Tory looked over her shoulder at Robby who was still fast asleep and went to wake their sweet baby girl up so she didn't sleep too much and then keep them up through the night again.

As soon as Tory walked into the nursery she felt like something was wrong. It was too cold. Tory spared a glance at the open window before rushing over to the crib and ripping back the messed up blankets.

Tory let out a scream that probably woke the whole street. It was certainly enough to wake Robby who ran in a moment later.

"What's wrong?"
"She-She's gone." Tory stuttered raising a shaky hand to the crib.
"What?" Robby asked confused. But the colour soon drained out of his face as he took in the same sight Tory had.

Robby immediately ran back into their room to grab his phone which was charging up during the night on his bedside table and called the police:
"911, what's your emergency?"
"My baby daughter was kidnapped in the middle of the night."
"What's your name, sir?"
"Robby Keene, eh, Robert Keene." He gave his legal name.
"What's the address?"
"7010 Halbert Drive, Encino, San Fernando Valley."
"A police unit is on their way to your house. Is anyone injured?"
"No, my wife and I just woke up and found out."
"Okay, make sure you don't touch anything in case they left evidence."
"Okay."

Robby hung up mindlessly as the adrenaline wore off before he quickly snapped out of it and went back to Hadley's room. "Tor," He called to his wife who was staring at the empty crib. "We have to leave the room in case there's evidence." Robby explained. "Tory, can you hear me?" He asked walking forward when he never got an answer. It was only when Robby was standing in front of her and laid a hand on her arm that Tory registered his presence "Rob, she's gone."
"I know. The police are on their way."
"Why? Why? Who would take her?"
"I don't know. Come on." Robby led her out of the nursery and back to their room where he made Tory sit down.

While they were waiting, Robby called his dad not knowing what else to do.

"Hey Rob-... what?... Slow down... What?... I'm on my way."

Johnny had also informed a few other people in their extended family who rushed over to Tory and Robby's house with him.

"Where's Tory?" Amanda asked immediately walking in just as Robby had opened the door. "No offence to you." She added over her shoulder.
"None taken. She's in our room." Robby replied.
"Robby, how are... I mean, what the fuck?" Johnny tried to comfort his son but ran his hand through his already messed up blonde hair unable to comprehend the situation.
"I know." He agreed with his dad.

There was another knock on the door. "Who else did you tell?"
"Well, Carmen and Laura were there when I answered the phone, and Carmen probably phoned Miguel. Plus, Amanda would have told Daniel and Sam. And Miguel and Sam would have told Hawk and Demetri. But I told everyone not to rush over immediately." Johnny defended.
