An elderly couple see Tory and Robby sitting in hospital waiting room after 5x10.

Once the police finished taking their statements everyone was sent to the hospital to get checked out. One of the ambulances had already taken Chozen away since his case was more urgent.

"This is stupid." Tory complained after checking in at the A&E desk.
"No, it's not. Just, come here, sit down." Robby said having to guide Tory into one of the waiting room chairs. He sat down beside her and wrapped his arm around her comfortingly but also to make sure she wouldn't leave. "I spend enough time in hospitals." She pouted.
"I know. But this time it's for you."
"I don't care." Tory cried.
"Well, I do." Robby shot back. The two of them were face to face again, neither of them willing to back down. "While we're waiting, you wanna tell me what happened to your hand?"
"Ha! Nice try, Keene." Tory scoffed turning her head away from him. Robby continued to watch her for a few moments he never wanted to take his eyes off her again. After all, look what had happened when he left. Even through Tory's poker face Robby knew there was a lot more to the 'training accident' story. Eventually softening her resolve, Tory leaned her head on Robby's shoulder and rested her eyes, scared she might accidentally push him too far away again.

Diagonally opposite them sat an older couple who had been watching the teens amusedly. The elderly couple were reminded of themselves when they were young.

After both couples sat there for hours a nurse had finally called for Tory. "Want me to come with?"
"No." Tory objected before Robby could finish the last syllable.
"Worth a shot." He said under his breath.

Robby's eyes fluttered between the floor and the door that Tory was taken through as he sat waiting with his knees bouncing with nervous energy making the old man laugh and finally he had to say something.

"You remind me of myself when I was waiting on my wife during labour." He chuckled making Robby look up. "Men weren't allowed in then." The man explained. Realising that the man was talking to him and had clearly been watching the teens, Robby explained. "She doesn't like anyone seeing her weak." Adding, "Thankfully, I've got a few more years to convince her it's okay before I miss the birth of my own child." while shaking his head with silent laughter at the thought.

Not long after that conversation, a nurse came through the door "Robby? Tory's asking for you."
Hearing that the man smiled and told Robby "There's hope for the two of you yet, kid."
"Yeah, I guess there is." He smiled nodding.
