The Sekai Teikai had a surprise sensei division that none of the American senseis realised they had to participate in and by some good or bad luck, Johnny had been drawn against Kreese.
Before their match, Tory quietly made her way over to Robby when he was alone.
"Hey."
Looking over his shoulder in surprise, Robby immediately stood up from the bench he was sitting on. "Hey. Hey, y-you wanna sit?"
"No. I just came to say I'm rooting for Johnny."
"Why?" Robby asked confused. He knew she practically worshipped Kreese - he had been there for her in the worst situations of her life.
"Our future kids have already lost one grandparent, it's not fair if they lose two." Tory said quickly barely catching his eye before leaving. Robby took a minute to process her words before he smiled knowing there was hope for them after this awful tournament.
