The school summer holidays had finally come to an end, much to Robby's displeasure, he had basically been on vacation from school since sophomore year. Sure, he had made up his credits in juvie and online classes but being back in the building with all the rules was another thing, particularly when that building was also the scene of the crime that got him sent to juvie.

He didn't feel as alone as the last time he was starting at West Valley High though and his morning had started a lot better than last time. Rosa had made both Robby and Miguel packed lunches which Johnny had thrown in some kind of protein meat stick at the last minute, Robby had never had a packed lunch made for him, not even by Shannon when he was younger.

As happy as his new family situation made him, there was someone Robby was more excited to see. His leg was bouncing up and down in anticipation as they waited in the drop off lane. "Dude, you seriously have separation anxiety." Miguel chuckled watching him.
"Shut up." Robby laughed back playfully shoving his step-brother further over the back seat.

Robby had to arrive slightly earlier to meet with the principal and Counsellor Blatt to officially permit him back on-site despite the letter of recommendation the Diazes had written. Thankfully, Tory had also arrived early knowing this from her own experience and was waiting for Robby outside the school doors.

"Good morning." She smiled at him as the boys approached.
"It is now." Robby flirted back kissing Tory hello.
"Oh god, I'm gonna be sick." Miguel said dramatically turning away from them. Ignoring him, Tory asked Robby "Are you ready?"
"Yeah." He nodded after a beat.
"Please, you've got this easy. The metal detectors and security guards are gone now."
"Seriously?" Miguel asked moving to peer through the glass doors to see for himself. Even their school felt safer after the destruction of Cobra Kai.
"Still. We should probably go now." Robby shrugged trying to hide his nerves.
"Good luck, bro." Miguel said holding his hand out for a fist bump. "I'm gonna wait on Sam."
"No problem. See you later."

Tory led Robby down the familiar hall to the principal's office. "I'm gonna be right here waiting for you. Good luck, baby."
"Thank you." He pecked her on the lips.

While Robby was in his meeting, Tory paced outside the room until Devon appeared in front of her and distracted Tory until Robby came back out.

After what felt like an hour to Tory, Robby finally reappeared although the look on his face wasn't very promising until he whipped out a new student guide from behind his back. "Ah! Robby!" Tory squealed grabbing his hands for making her panic. One day, she was going to kill him and his poker face. If she didn't kill his stupid, grinning face for catching her off guard first. But that was a future problem, Right now, Tory was so happy that she would have Robby with her in school. When they were both in Cobra Kai they spent so much time training while the others were at school, Tory had felt bad for ditching him to return to school even though he understood her circumstances. Plus, they had already lost too much time together over the summer and were still making up for that. Tory pulled Robby closer by his face which he happily accepted opening his arms for her to press against his chest. Robby held Tory close by the small of her back but she somehow managed to pull them closer together when she wrapped her arms around his shoulders as they made out in the middle of the school hallway.

When they finally ran out of oxygen and had to part, Tory looked around them asking "Where's the kid?"

Unfortunately, the couple were separated for most of the day - it almost seemed as if the school had planned their schedules like that to keep the two "troublemakers" away.

Tory was walking through the hall to her next class while other students parted like the Red Sea for her given her reputation. Suddenly, she felt a gust of wind hit her and heard a familiar voice say "Hey! You're not supposed to be lifting anything heavy." Robby had caught a glimpse of Tory where the corridors crossed over and ran to catch his girlfriend and stop her from damaging her already broken hand. "Wha-Where did you come from?" Tory asked looking around; taking the books out of her the crook of her right arm Robby walked Tory to her next class.

At the end of the lesson, Tory found Robby waiting outside the classroom. "You don't need to do that, you know?" She said looking around at the crowded hall as people hurried to make the most of their lunch hour. "I wanted to. Besides, someone needs to make sure you don't hurt your hand."
"I'm fine." Tory assured him again but Robby still didn't look convinced.

They walked back to their lockers which were surprisingly close together, they guessed that West Valley High didn't have many students who were kicked out and then returned to school and needed a locker again. Once Robby was finished dumping his stuff from the morning in the locker he walked up behind Tory and dipped a kiss onto the back of her neck through her hair. "Uhh... don't. Not here." She moaned a warning. "That's not fair." The halls had quietened down now and students tended to avoid them whenever they saw them scared they would be scarred or kicked off a balcony. Tory had finished swapping her books over and turned around dropping her bag at her feet when she saw Robby's smirking face. "What?"
"Nothing. I just really missed you." He said closing the gap making Tory involuntarily back into the wall of lockers. "I'm really glad you're here with me this time, means I don't have to miss you during the day now." Tory returned a smirk of her own as she threaded her good fingers through Robby's hand. Robby leaned forward and kissed her wrapping an arm around Tory's back again to pull her closer. He led her hand up to rest on his shoulder before grabbing her by the waist. The two were a close as could be, almost merging with the beige lockers. Tory pulled away to quickly say "This is much better than the last time you had me pressed up against here." She smirked and Robby let out a short laugh before leaning in to kiss her again.

"Ah-hem!" Someone coughed loudly startling the karate couple.
"Mr Keene, Miss Nichols." Counsellor Blatt greeted. "Enjoying the return to school?"
"Yes." They both answered like perfect students.
"Good. Just remember to follow all the school rules." She said pointing to a sign behind her banning PDA. Robby and Tory followed her direction and read the sign rolling their eyes but complying anyway since they were both on thin ice.
