As soon as I saw the scene where Charlotte and George meet I was reminded of Keenry!

The year was 1707 and the two countries of Scotland and England were finally uniting as one Great Britain after years of battles but there was one final ceremony to take place to signify the union. The wedding of Princess Victoria of England to Prince Robert of Scotland to unite the new country under one crown and monarchy.
However, the prince and princess had never laid eyes on one another, and the princess in particular was feeling rather overwhelmed at marrying a stranger of whom she had only heard of how ferocious he was in battle. The fact that he was nowhere to be seen on the castle grounds and the way people refused to speak good or ill of him to her only confirmed her suspicions.
"Is he handsome? Is he kind? Is he funny? Is he warm? Well-read? Artistic? Athletic?"
"We can discuss the order of the matrimonial ceremony, Your Highness." Her butler, Brimsley cut in.
"Is he ugly?" She feared. "Perhaps deformed in some way because beauty is inside. Well, it is certainly not inside, but I am a good person and shall overcome."
"The Archbishop sent over some verses for Your Highness—" Brimsely continued but Victoria cut him off coming up with more theories as to why no one would speak of the prince. "Is he dull? Not very smart? Mentally slow? I can work on those. You can tell me?" She tried asking the seamstress putting the final touches on her traditional English wedding gown. "Is he cruel?" The seamstress looked to Brimsely who shook his head and simply replied "You're going to have wonderful children together, Your Highness."
"You said you're always going to be with me, Brimsley."
"Yes, Your Highness. You need never worry. I shall be here."
"Hmm. I need to... use the chamber pot. Are you with me for that too?"
"Uh... withdraw. Her Royal Highness requires privacy." Brimsely ordered the other staff before departing himself.Tory looked at her reflection in the mirror for a few moments. In truth, she had no need to use the chamber pot but the princess knew it was the only way she would be left alone in order to complete her plan.
After a considerable amount of time, Brimsely went to check on the princess when they weren't invited back inside and nearly had a heart attack at the sight that he found - the princess was nowhere to be seen. He scurried about the halls of Alnwick Castle looking for the Princess of England, but had to press himself a wall and pretend everything was normal as Queen Shannon of Scotland walked by with her council of advisors making sure everything was in place. The castle in the north of England had been chosen as a mutual meeting point and neutral grounds given the distance both parties had to travel.
Brimsley walked hastily to the room behind the church where a select few VIPs were gathering before the wedding so they did not have to mingle with the attendees. After a brief bow to his king, Brimsely crossed the room to speak to the king's man. "There is a problem."
"What have you done now, Brimsley?" Reynolds asked trying to repress a smirk having no idea what he was about to be told.
"The bride is missing." He whispered but it still wasn't quiet enough. King Micheal had to stop himself from rolling her eyes at his headstrong daughter's scheme. Also, in the vicinity and had overheard them was none other than Prince Robert of Scotland, the groom.Victoria found herself watching the wedding guests from the balcony above the church for a moment as she made her escape. In the gardens, she had come to an impasse. The castle was surrounded by a wall, thankfully, the wall was covered in vines and strong roots. After pacing and studying the plants for a few minutes, Tory eventually hatched a plan and began climbing the vines only to be interrupted by a gentleman's voice. Clearing his throat he said "Uh, hello, My Lady. Are you in need of assistance of some kind?"
"Uh, I am quite fine, thank you. You can go back inside and wait with all the other gawkers." Tory replied without turning around, waving him off.
The man was quite taken aback "I... will." He said slowly. "But first, I'm curious. What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
"You're doing something."
"I am not."
"You are."
"I am not."
"You are!"
Tory climbed down and explained "If you must know, I'm trying to ascertain the best way to climb over the garden wall."
"Climb... Whatever for?" The man was completely bewildered.
"Because I think he may be a beast."
"A beast?"
"Or a troll."
"Who are we discussing?"
"Oh, well, that is impertinent. None of your business." Tory scoffed finally looking over her shoulder at the man. "The Prince." She finally answered after a moment's silence. "No one will speak of him. No one. He is clearly a beast or a troll."
"Understood." The man nodded trying not to laugh.
"You know, if I grab there... Yes! Perhaps you could assist me by lifting me up there?" Tory asked finally figuring out a better plan.
"Uh, one question. You do not like beasts or trolls? What he looks like matters?" He asked starting to feel insecure.
"I do not care what he looks like. What I do not like is not knowing. Now, here. Just take hold here. With a lift, I... I believe I can make it over the garden wall." She directed him.
"You want me to lift you over the wall so you may escape?" He clarified.
"That is what I said, yes."
"People will notice you are missing. Will they not?"
"I shall worry about that later. Now, if you please. I just need a little help. Come. Make haste."
"I have absolutely no intention of helping you." The man revealed making the princess turn around in confusion. "I'm a lady in distress. You refuse to help a lady in distress?" She questioned.
"I refuse when that lady in distress is trying to go over a wall so that she does not have to marry me." A look of shock crossed Tory's face and she took a couple of steps back gasping softly. "Hello, Victoria. I'm Robert." Prince Robert greeted with a smile on his face as he closed the gap Tory had created.
"I am deeply s..." Victoria began to apologise then remembered her training "Your Highness." She greeted properly, curtsying to him but Robby bent down and caught her hand bringing Victoria back up. "Not Your Highness. Robert. I mean, yes, Your Highness, but to you, just Robert. Or Robby, if you prefer, that is what my parents call me in private."
"I am..." Tory was still in shock. "Please accept my apology. If I had known that you were you—"
"You would have what? Not told me that you were trying to escape?"
"Well, yes. I mean..." Robby chuckled. "I do apologise, Your Highness."
"Robby. Just Robby." Tory nodded. He leaned closer as if he were telling her a secret "The 'Prince' situation. It towers over us. Accident of birth on my part, you understand, but I thought, maybe, perhaps as husband and wife, we could ignore that and we could just be Robert and Victoria to each other. That was, of course, before I found out that you do not want to be married to me."
"I did not say that."
"Oh, you did."
"I did not."
"You did."
"It is not... Mm. I do now know you."
"I do not know you either. Except that you are... terrible at climbing a wall."
"You try climbing a wall in all of these garments." She challenged making Robby even more transfixed by her. "What?" Victoria asked softly as he continued to stare and smile at her. "You are incomparable. No one told me you'd be this beautiful. You may be too beautiful to marry me. People will talk... given I'm a troll."
"Your Highness."
"Robby."
Tory chuckled softly at his insistence. "Robby." She finally corrected herself. "If you must insist on me calling you by your familial nickname then I must do the same. Please, call me Tory."
"Well then, What do you want to know, Tory?" He asked her.
"What?"
"You do not know me. What do you want to know about me?"
"That is quite, uh..."
"Mm-hmm."
"Uh... I do not... Everything." She finally said.
"All right." Robby clicked his tongue. "Uh, everything?" Tory nodded in confirmation. "I was born prematurely, and everyone thought I was going to die, but I did not. I am a fair shot, and an even better swordsman. I studied ancient fighting styles abroad in Japan. My favourite food is mutton. I will not eat fish. It is horrible. I like books and art and good conversation. Most of all, I like science."
"Science?"
"Chemistry, physics, and botany, especially astronomy. The stars in the heavens. I'm quite the farmer. Probably would be a farmer if I were not already occupied. I have a scar here from falling off my horse. A scar here from... just being incredibly clumsy with a paring knife. And I'm very nervous..." He chuckled. "...about marrying a girl I'm only meeting minutes before our wedding." Victoria nodded in understanding "But I promise you, I am neither a troll... nor a beast. Just Robert."The two of them were left smiling at each other for a few moments before a familiar angry voice ruined the moment. "Victoria!" The current King of England, Michael shouted. "We have been looking everywhere for you. What are you... oh, Your Highness."
"Your Majesty." Robby bowed to the King. "You have arrived at the most opportune moment. Victoria was just deciding whether or not she wanted to marry me."
Michael looked at his daughter in surprise "Oh. Uh... Victoria is overjoyed to become—"
"No, she's still deciding. She might go over the wall instead." Robby revealed. "Either way, the choice is entirely up to her." Micheal smiled tightly at his daughter. "Now, I should get back because I suspect that by now there are some very anxious guards who think I am kidnapped." Robby walked forward and asked for Tory's hand "Victoria." He bid farewell kissing where her wedding ring would go. "I hope I see you in there. And if so, I shall be the one standing next to the Archbishop of Canterbury."Tory watched him walk away completely unaware as her father made his way over to her until he spoke "Do not tell me you are still hesitating."
"Well, first..." Tory chuckled. "I need to change."
"What?"
"Well, the groom can't see the dress before the ceremony. Where's that nice, new, European dress that was sent over from Paris for the wedding."
"It's hardly traditional." Her father objected.
"Good. I thought this is supposed to be something new." Tory said before walking off to return to her room and change.
