After the first round the Miyagi-Dos retreated to their assigned locker room where they finally allowed themselves to let their true emotions show regarding to appearance of Tory & Cobra Kai, and their subsequent defeat by the Iron Dragons.

Wanting to talk without the kids around, Johnny and Daniel went for a walk.
"Hey I didn't want to say this when Robby was there, but do you remember what Kreese did to me when I lost the All Valley?" Johnny asked his co-sensei.
"Yes. How could I forget?"
"If that's what he did to me for that. What do you think he's going to do to Tory if she loses the world tournament on live TV?"
"Or any of the students." Daniel added in horror.
"I don't care so much about them." Johnny shrugged. Daniel rolled his eyes but nodded knowing it was just who Johnny was "Well, we know the signs, so we'll just keep an eye on them, particularly Tory and Kreese."
