The hotel bar had been closed for a private party to welcome the students and senseis to the Sekai Teikai and one of Tory's new teammates was still trying to get her to open up to him. Tory swirled her straw in her drink absentmindedly as she listened to Kwon go on and on but it wasn't long before she felt eyes burning right through her into her soul - that wasn't from Kwon - she knew that feeling, glancing up her hazel eyes met Robby's deep green ones which were watching her with sadness. The sight just made Tory feel worse about what she had done.

Eventually Kwon noticed that she was even more distracted than earlier and asked "What's up with you?"
Tory sighed "My boyfriend's here. I haven't spoke to him since it happened."
"Well, come here. Take your mind off of everything." He jeered switching sides so that he could turn Tory to face away from her former teammate. Kwon ordered them around round of drinks and swung his arm around Tory's shoulders to keep her from looking back. From his new position, Kwon could easily spot the boyfriend, it was the same boy he had already squared off with at the end of the first round when he and his sensei came over to confront Sensei Kreese. He had wondered why Sensei Kim had made such a quick exit with Tory at that time. Catching the American boy's glare, Kwon smirked and pulled Tory closer whispering in her ear; although from Robby's angle, he knew it could look much worse.

Tory grimaced at the action knowing exactly who he was putting it on for, she didn't dare look at Robby out of her peripheral vision. She didn't need to see him to know that his expression had changed from sad to cold. Tory remembered Robby's barely contained frustration with Kyler when he flirted with her before they were even together, she didn't even want to imagine what kind of rage Robby was feeling seeing his number one competitor in the tournament with his arm around his own girlfriend. 'Maybe, she was wrong' crossed Tory's mind for a second. What if Robby hated her for disappearing and not answering his calls or messages, maybe he didn't care now.

"What does that mean?" She asked Kwon who had whispered something in Korean to her. "Hmm, I'm not sure I should say." Kwon said leaning back in his chair his arm more slack around her shoulders. Now that got Tory's attention. Turning to face him fully, Tory pushed further "Why? Is it an insult?"
"Not to you." Kwon said casually.
"Kwon." She warned.
"Okay. I said: you're beautiful why are you with him when you could be with me?" Tory was in shock from moment before throwing his arm off her shoulders and facing the bar again. "Tor—"
"No. Just don't." She cut him off holding her hand up between them.

"Hey, guys!" Yoon called as he and the rest of the team joined them.
"I need a break. You can deal with him." Tory said angrily tapping Yoon on the shoulder as she slipped by him. She liked him much better, he was a lot calmer and would have made a better captain, despite Kwon's unparalleled skill. It was the first thing Tory and Kim agreed on.
"What did you do now?" She heard Yoon accuse Kwon as she left.

Tory had to get out of there quickly. She couldn't feel Robby's sad eyes boring into her as much as before but he had saw her angry reaction to Kwon he would soon start a fight with him. She only hoped that by taking herself out of the situation, Robby would follow her first.

Heading for the elevators, Tory intended on going back to her single room, the only place she had peace from everything and everyone. Before the doors could close, an arm stuck through the gap causing them to reopen to reveal Robby on the other side.

"Going up?" He asked seeing that she hadn't pressed any buttons.
"Are you?" Tory retorted. She knew this was coming.
"21 ok?" Robby asked. Tory just nodded with her eyes closed 'of course they were on the same floor', she thought. When she opened her eyes she found Robby standing in front of her. "What?" Tory asked angrily expecting him to be as angry. Robby shrugged "Just checking you're real. I thought it was a mirage when I first saw you. Then, in the bar, I was like 'that can't be my girlfriend because she would immediately kill any guy who touched her like that'."
"Here we go." Tory muttered turning her face away from him. "So what? You only want me when someone else wants me?" Tory's own anger was rising as she remembered no matter how much he called he never came to see her in person. "Oh, baby, I always want you." Robby tried to keep the husk out of his voice wanting to prove that he wanted more than just her body but it was incredibly difficult this was the most time they had spent together in over a month and it just had to be locked in a confined space with no distractions around. "Prove it." Tory challenged with fire dancing in her eyes.
