I went back to bed to wait for the water temperature to warm up. I picked up my phone, and just then, a message came in. 'I'll call you, if you hang up on me, I'll come to your house.' Danielle knew me well.

"Don't mess around," I said seriously.

"I didn't tell you for that reason. If you don't like her, just scare her away. I don't want that; I really care about her and don't want you interfering," she spoke just as seriously.

"Excuse me for caring about you and keeping the idiots away from you," I replied, hurt. In reality, I had only 'scared off' two, and there were good reasons for it. "And you don't need to worry; I won't meddle in your life anymore." I hung up.

"She's an idiot," I thought angrily, now truly upset.

Flashback

"Are you dating Danielle and also her?" I asked Asa threateningly, although the answer was obvious. Outside the mall, she was swapping spit with a girl who was definitely not Danielle.

"I... I... Haerin," her nervousness gave her away.

"You're trash," I said disgustedly. "Danielle cares about you more than you know, and you do this to her."

"Shut up, you're the last person who should be talking," she gathered her courage. "A lot of things are said about you," I approached dangerously, now wanting to pull out her hair strand by strand was overwhelming. "Many say they've seen you coming out of her bed," she knew very well that was more than false.

"Say, listen, and speak whatever you want," I pointed at her with my index finger. "But if you go near Danielle, it will be to tell her what happened with that idiot," I gestured with my head towards the intimidated girl waiting nearby. "Otherwise, I'll take care of you myself," I stared at her firmly. "You know I'm not joking."

End Flashback

"I'm not the one throwing fifteen years of friendship in the trash," I said confidently as I walked back to the bathroom.

I dropped my clothes on the already damp floor of the room, so I could get into the shower. I let the water droplets wash away any trace of sweat and stress from my body. I was in there for a while, until I thought it was time to get out.

I wrapped a white towel around my body and then tied one in my hair to help it dry quickly.

I opened the closet but glanced at the clock on the nightstand. Seven ten. I still had twenty minutes to get to the game.

"I don't need Danielle, I don't need anyone," I thought proudly.

I looked back at the closet and pulled out the team shirt. It was white with light blue and black stripes, and a large number 11 'P. Eunchae' on it.

"I guess I won't be using this anymore," I muttered to myself as I let it drop to the floor.

I picked a gray sweater with red and blue details on the sleeves and collar that reached just above my knees, along with a basic shirt underneath and heels of the same color.

Once dressed, I fixed my hair, leaving it loose with some waves. As usual, my makeup was light, just added a bit more black eyeliner, curled my lashes, and applied red lipstick. I checked the clock, seven twenty-five. "Wow, record time," I thought.

I grabbed my bag and hopped down the stairs, reaching the kitchen and informing the cleaning staff that I was leaving. I'd leave a note for my mother as usual, letting her know I was out.

Now, I took my car keys and headed out the front door. I walked outside and found Danielle leaning on her car, looking down at the ground.

I ignored her presence and walked towards my car, which was on the opposite side.
