"What?!" Shit, Minji, why are you yelling!?

"You said you weren't interested," she pointed out.

"And I'm not interested," I said, calming down. "I was just a little surprised. Yeah, just that... nothing more."

"Sure?" she asked, not taking her eyes off Haerin, who walked down the hallway with her characteristic confidence. "You've had her at your house for a week now," she shook her head. "Anyone else would've tried to get her into their room by now," she bit her lower lip, couldn't be more of an idiot.

"And will you try?" I slammed my locker shut.

"I don't know, I don't know," she said with a smile. "We'll see how things go. If she's agreed to the date, I don't think she'll refuse anything else. What do you think?"

"I think you're an idiot," I said. She laughed. I couldn't have said yes to her; it was probably a joke from Iroha.

Classes went by, and I just couldn't focus. "Everyone knows it's easier to meet the president in person than to get a date with me," I remembered those words she said in the parking lot on game day. It didn't seem so difficult to get her anymore. A small paper ball hit my cheek, and I looked down to see the mini projectile. "Bit, will you lend me your brothers?" I took the black pen and wrote under her pink message. "I have no choice, and stop calling me Bit." I handed the paper back carefully, making sure we weren't caught; fortunately, the teacher was glued to the blackboard.

"Haerin will come for you," I told them, and both happily ran upstairs to change. What had I said to make them like her so much?

I tossed my backpack and jacket onto one of the couches in the living room. Irritated, I walked to the kitchen, but the doorbell made me turn back.

I opened the door and rolled my eyes at Haerin standing there with a huge smile. "Wow," she articulated slowly, "you really are bipolar."

"Are you coming in or staying outside?" I asked rudely.

"I'll wait outside," her tone changed; now she spoke to me coldly.

"Whatever," I turned around, but a stupid impulse made me turn back.

"Why are you going out with Iroha?" Damn it, Minji! What's it to you!

"Well, because..." she started to speak but stopped, turned halfway, and narrowed her eyes at me. "How do you know that?" She took two steps toward me.

"She told me," I said casually. She rolled her eyes and turned back around. Didn't she want me to find out?

"Well, yeah... I am going out with her," she replied.

"You didn't answer my question," she turned again, facing me.

"I thought you didn't care what I did."

"I don't care," I laughed bitterly. "I just thought you said it was easier to contact the president than to get a date with you."

"I know," she replied, smiling. "But I decided to take your advice." She adjusted her wavy hair.

"What advice?"

"'Why you don't make us three happy?,'" she said, imitating my voice. "So I won't bother you anymore; we'll finish the work, and there won't be anything to link us. "Was that okay? Just a few days ago, she was practically begging me.

POV Haerin.

"Hello," I heard from behind me, and I thought, Eunchae? Already starting to miss me?

"Hello," I replied nonchalantly.

"How have you been?"

"Are you interested?"

"Come on," she persisted, taking two steps toward me. "Don't treat me like that. Or is your new girlfriend not letting you talk to me?"

"I don't have any new girlfriend, and if I'm treating you like this, it's because I want to," I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, really? Then that..."

"My love," Garam's heels echoed down the hallway. "What are you doing talking to... her?" she said with a look of disgust.

"Nothing, dear," she kissed me on the cheek, and they both left. Disgusting! I finished putting away my things in the locker and took out the books I would need for the next class. I turned around and was surprised to see a slender girl with very light blonde hair in front of me.

"Hello," she smiled shyly.

"Hello," I smiled faintly.

"Iroha," she introduced herself.

"Haerin."

"Yes, I know," she chuckled shyly. "Hey, I... I wanted to know if... maybe you and I... well, if you would like to... go out with me," she finally finished the sentence.

"Sure," I replied, looking into her honey-colored eyes.

"Really?" she said surprised. "Great!" she grinned from ear to ear. "Is this Friday okay?"

"Yes, it's fine," I replied, trying to smile. I wasn't too keen on the idea of going out with this Iroha, but we'll see how Minji reacts, and therefore Eunchae.

Last class, Algebra. There was nothing more boring than this. The teacher just wouldn't stop talking and writing on the board, it was torture.

I turned to the back rows and there was Minji. Her gaze was focused on the board, but she wasn't paying attention. She seemed rather lost. I flipped to the last pages of my notebook to tear off a piece, took my pink pen, and wrote "Will you lend me your brothers, Bit?" I turned to the teacher to make sure he wasn't looking at me and threw the small paper ball, making it hit her cheek and then fall to the floor. She lowered her gaze to identify what had hit her. She picked it up from the floor and unfolded it to read the content. She wrote back and returned the message to me, "I have no choice, and stop calling me Bit."

I rang the doorbell, and in less than ten seconds, the door opened, revealing Minji's perfect figure.

"Wow," I drawled, "You sure are bipolar," I said since as soon as she saw me, she rolled her eyes as if my presence had ruined her day.

"Are you coming in, or are you staying outside?" her 'I detest you' tone had returned.

"I'll just wait outside," I replied, changing my tone to match hers.

"As you wish," she turned away, but apparently regretted it and turned back to me. "Why are you going out with Iroha?"

"Well, because..." I was about to answer her but didn't. "How do you know that?" I took two steps towards her.

"She told me," she replied rudely. I rolled my eyes. The plan was for her to find out after I'd already gone out with Jimin.

"Well, yes... I am going out with her," I replied and turned around, giving her my back.

"You didn't answer my question," she said. I thought carefully about what I was going to say and turned to her again.

"I thought you weren't interested in what I do."

"I'm not interested," she laughed bitterly. "I just thought you said it was easier to contact the president than to get a date with you," she still remembered.

"I know," I replied with a smile. "But I decided to take your advice," I also remembered her words.

"What advice?" she asked, not understanding.

"Why you don't make us three happy," she frowned. "So I won't bother you anymore, we'll finish the work, and there will be nothing to connect us," I was risking too much by saying this. I crossed my fingers that everything would go as planned.

"Perfect," Damn it! Just like that? Not even a little bit of jealousy? Perfect, Haerin, you've thrown yourself into the fire alone.
