"That was so blunt!" Jeonghan restrained himself from cursing out while looking at the players playing basketball in the field, "I mean, if the ball is passed to you, there is no time for your brain to glitch."

He looked at Seungcheol, the man who was looking at him and hearing him blabber almost anything disappointing he found in the match, "Beside Mingyu, none of them know how to play."

"Indeed." Seungcheol agreed, pausing for a while just to look at Jeonghan jumping slightly on where he sat, that was outside of the field with Seungcheol, as he saw Mingyu taking the ball from the opposite team and eventually scoring a point.

"Fuck!" Jeonghan caught Seungcheol by his arms, shaking him vigorously from excitement, "This is funny!" He laughed, "Look at their faces! Must be regretting having Mingyu in opposite to them."

Upon being shaken so badly from the younger, Seungcheol steadied Jeonghan back to his place, hands placed around his waist as he held him back from showing the violent side of his excitement on him, "Why don't you play yourself? You seem... interested."

Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol as if he really couldn't understand what the older was saying. The crowd cheered again after scoring one more point and Jeonghan didn't spare a second to look towards them, clapping with others as he said, "What are you even talking about?"

"You want to play, don't you?"

Jeonghan was immediately taken aback when he looked over Seungcheol, mainly to see him shrugging his shoulders like it was so obvious thing, "It shows on your face, you are dieing to keep your foot in the ground with them."

"I am not." Jeonghan argues, "Beside even if i tried to, it wouldn't even take me a full minute to come back here to you while crying. I dare not step between them."

Jeonghan said as if it was a matter of fact and Seungcheol again looked at him going back at staring at the game. When he didn't spoke for quite a while, Jeonghan looked at him again, "What happened?"

"You still think anyone of them will even try to touch you when I am right here?"

The way Seungcheol raised his brows, it was as if he was checking the audacity present in Jeonghan to even think like that. The younger blinked in confusion, and the next second, his eyes suddenly shined, "Are you coming to play with me?! Really?!"

"No." The older immediately looked away, "Who even told you i was going to do something as rubbish as that?"

The smile on Jeonghan's face dropped immediately but he still tugged on Coups's uniform, slightly pulling it to gain Seungcheol's attention, "Then why did you say that?" He sounded disappointed, "I thought we were going to play together."

"I don't like playing, any game if I am being honest." Seungcheol said, and his eyes fell on the black locks of Jeonghan that fell on his face, that Jeonghan did no effort in moving  away from his eyes.

Seungcheol sighed, removing the hair from Jeonghan's face and tugging it behind his ears. Jeonghan on the other hand wasn't even bothered by it as he held on Seungcheol again, "Come on Coups, play with me. It will be fun i promise."

Seungcheol shook his head, stern as he replied back, "I don't want to but you can." He then looked at the players in the field, seconds of wondering his eyes in between just to lock his eyes with Mingyu and call him towards himself.

But Jeonghan was still reluctant, "They'll kill me if they found me without you, that's why I am saying, you should come with me."

The game was paused, maybe because Mingyu had decided to come to them instead of resuming it. The other players were taking a brake when the taller stood in front of him, slightly panting, "Anything happened Hyung?"

Seungcheol slightly pushed Jeonghan to make him stand up, "Take him with you."

Mingyu looked at him as if he had heard something wrong, almost perplexed but Seungcheol, he did not see any otherwise in his statement. Infact, he repeated it for Mingyu again as if wanting him to not put up any questions, "Just make sure he is in your team. I'll be here if something happens, okay?"

The question was mainly to Mingyu rather than Jeonghan, the man who looked as if he was a child leaving for his first day of school.

And yes, he indeed was as stubborn as a child, "But Coups-" when he whined and pouted on the top of that, Coups immediately shut him up, not having any energy to argue with him anymore, "Just go. You won't always have me with you, so it's stupid to fear and stop yourself from doing what you like. Just go ahead, I'll be watching over you from here."

And even before Jeonghan could whine or complain about the matter, or do something as putting one more argument in between, Mingyu immediately dragged him out, introducing him to the players and eventually keeping him in his team as Seungcheol had suggested.

Coups saw Jeonghan hesitating while standing in the field. The fact that he kept glancing towards him every now and then was a proof that he felt nervous. The smile from his face was gone, and he was back at being reserved.

Coups though thought maybe it was a big move to make, to send him between faces he never really had a look on. But again, it might make him scared, but it will also help him get rid of that feeling, that he needs to feel scared with everyone. He needs to learn it himself.

Seungcheol saw Jeonghan taking the ball, and he again looked towards Seungcheol again. His eyes felt wary and Seungcheol was sure if there was ears on his head like some puppy, it would have been dropped down by now.

He didn't look happy, at all.

But then Mingyu leaned towards him, whispering something in his ears before darting off towards his position.

And it was strange. Cause whatever he had said, it made Jeonghan look at him again, but this time he grinned in his direction, waving at him as if he wanted him to be aware of his presence.

But again, he was all Seungcheol could focus on anyway.

Jeonghan then started moving, the ball seamlessly being controlled under his hold and Seungcheol was amused. The way he would dodge the people coming from front and still control the ball to himself, it was impressive at some point .

The ball then went out from his control to his other teammates but Seungcheol's eyes, instead of following the ball, was still on Jeonghan.

The younger seemed rather disappointed with himself.

"You look happy." Coups was immediately taken aback from the sudden voice coming from behind, and when he raised his head to know who had spoken, all he saw was Jeon Wonwoo, the man who was in hit list of both Mingyu and Jeonghan.

The taller, shorter than Mingyu from good few inches, settled himself beside Coups and the older had to check whether or not the sun started rising up from south.

What's with this man being weird early morning?

Seungcheol then decided he was going to focus on the game rather than the man sitting beside him, "What does me being happy or not has to do with you?"

The younger beside him paused for a second and Seungcheol honesty couldn't care to think what he was about to say. Not until he really opened his mouth and caught him off-guard again, "No, i meant in general. Like you seem a lot happier than before."

"Huh?" Coups finally looked at him, brows frowned in confusion, "I don't think you are making sense. I was always like this, like how I am right now-"

Whatever he was going to say next, Wonwoo immediately cut him off, "No, you weren't. This brightness on your face, it wasn't there when I first saw you. It wasn't there few months ago either. It has just recently appeared." Wonwoo then looked over the man in the field, the one who had the control of ball in his hands again, "Is it because of him?"

Seungcheol eyes widened, not because he was taken aback, because this was the most bullshit thing Wonwoo had ever said to him.

Brightness? On his face? Because of Jeonghan? He didn't even know how those three things linked with eachother.
