"So today, we will make Mochis!" Mingyu exclaimed as he kept already soaked rice on the kitchen counter, making Seungcheol shake his own head in disbelief, "Are you some content creator? What's up with those cheesy introductions?"
"That wasn't cheesy Hyung." Mingyu fought back, only to contemplate his life decisions the next second, "But for real, should I start my own YouTube channel? I got a handsome face, might as well work you know?"
Seungcheol scoffed, keeping the ice-cream in the fridge as he turned back to him, "No i don't."
"Rude."
"Alright Mr. I am handsome," Seungcheol mused as he closed the door of the fridge, eventually making his way to Mingyu who stood beside the kitchen counter, "If your dream about your stupid YouTube channel is done, tell me what does it says in your recipe? What do we do of this rice?"
"Ah-" And the taller immediately looked back at the paper he was holding all these while, reading it out loud, "It says we have to cook the rice in the same amount of water."
"Okay?" Seungcheol turned back to grab a pan off from the counter, "And what else does it says?"
Mingyu looked back in the paper, face as serious as ever, "It then asks why the fuck are we making Mochis as the very first task of the day?"
"Okay and- wait what?!" When the older looked back at Mingyu in absolute bewilderness, the taller just crossed his arms on his chest, "Why are we making Mochi Hyung? As far as I know, you don't like sweets."
Now this was where Seungcheol knew he should turn around and pretend to be busy, and he did, "I don't hate them as well."
"That absolutely doesn't answer my question." Mingyu's stare on Seungcheol intensified, "You could have bought it you know?"
"I wanted to learn making them.".
"Why?"
Seungcheol shrugged his shoulders, keeping the pan on the stove, "Just casually. Am i not allowed to have a hobby?"
Ofcourse, the 'Hobby' part was totally indigestible for the younger. His Hyung wasn't the type to pursue some hobbies until it doesn't have any solid reason. Seungcheol does not do anything without reason, everyone knows that. So this sudden liking towards sweets was literally very out of the blue.
Or maybe Mingyu knows where it was coming from.
The taller's lips curved in a smile, and the next seconds when he eventually got caught by Seungcheol, he started looking out for bowl and stuff.
And as he had expected, the older's voice was soon echoing in air, "Why are you smiling so psychopathically all of sudden?"
"Just casually. Am i not allowed to even smile now?"
"........"
Seungcheol sighed.
The taller was literally insufferable.
"It's raining outside Hyung." Mingyu all of sudden commented, and it made Seungcheol give a quick glance towards the window and go back to doing his job, "That's good."
The younger snorted, suddenly finding that offhand comment kind of funny, "That's all you came up with? Good?"
"What else am i supposed to say other than that?"
"Hyung, it's raining!" Mingyu nudged him by his elbow, a teasing grin plastered on his face, "Don't you feel romantic? Like love is in the air?"
"......."
"Alright, I'll stop talking." And as the taller finally decided to shut his mouth, Seungcheol was the first one to break that spell of the silence, "Wonwoo? Where is he?"
