Silence.
Silence was all that Seungcheol was used to in his whole life. Most of the time, he thought of it as peace and more then often as a burden free life.
He had lived his life that way, as a grumpy man full of himself. A man who always liked to do what he wanted, what he saw fit, not really caring about anything at all. And truth to be told, there was no one beside him for whom he was suppose to care or think about.
He was used to it. And in all of the time he had spent being the cold grumpy man, he never really thought there will be a day where he will be sitting feeling that restless. The silence he had always liked will be there, but he wouldn't be liking it. It would be like someone piercing him with a sharp knife as each seconds passes, and with each upcoming hour, he will be losing a bit of his sanity.
And as Seungcheol sat there in the cell along with three other men, the silence started stinging him. It was physically paining him, only to give him the realisation how habitual he was of hearing his both idiots talk.
The same idiots who didn't even spare him a glance after settling themselves inside, even after being in the same cell as Coups.
He looked back at them. Jeonghan had chose his one corner and stared at ground as if there was something he was trying to decode. Mingyu chose the other corner, glaring at the wall as if doing that was going to fix everything. Wonwoo though sat a little away from him, and as the time passed, he silently scooted towards Coups, and right now, he was just beside him, his voice was low when he stared speaking, "I can see why they are like this but why are you turning pale?"
Seungcheol shot his glare towards his side, obviously annoyed, "Did I ask for your commentary?"
The man in front of him just shrugged his shoulders, "Not really. I was just making sure if you were to die, you wouldn't die here."
Seungcheol chuckled, and the next second, his small smile changed into sarcastic remark, "Stay away. Don't make me leave Jeonghan on you."
"I am not scared of him or something." And even though he said that, he still made a proper space between them, dragging his ass back and stealing a glance of Jeonghan before continuing, "You fucked up a big time and he's probably not gonna listen to you anymore."
Seungcheol was offended, "Look for yourself first." And the next second, he turned to face the annoying man who sat beside him at some distance, "You aren't better than me in anyway. Just look at your man, if he wasn't mad at you already, the wall he is glaring was definitely going to be you."
Wonwoo, as Seungcheol had expected, went silent for a while over that matter. And as the older thought he had won the debate, Jeon Wonwoo put one more argument over the table, "I had disappointed him enough for him to not feel any more disappointment in me. Your case is different though," Along with him, Seungcheol's eyes also travelled towards Jeonghan, "This is the first time you have disappointed him."
"........"
Fuck Jeon Wonwoo and his bloody honest mouth.
Seungcheol was trying to ignore the way his stomach churned with the sudden weird feeling. He all of sudden felt more restless, almost like someone had knocked out the Oxygen off from his lungs.
If his both idiots stayed like that, Seungcheol didn't know what was he really going to do then.
"Mingyu-ah~" Seungcheol called them out as he looked at them one by one, "Jeonghan-ah~ atleast look at me for once."
Jeonghan didn't. He was firm on his decision of staying mad, Mingyu on the other hand looked up at him and again went back to glaring the wall.
Seungcheol sighed, "See, i can't do anything in this, can i? This wasn't me my hand. I never intended to come here, and neither it was my intension to leave so soon. I know i-"
