And as if God was from Jeonghan's side, the next day, they were taken out from the fifth floor.

It was weird, weirder in some sense. Cause the same officers who were looking at each human in the prison as if they killed the man, now were having close to no interest in the case. It was like the fire that was spreading in the jungle had suddenly disappeared.

But how?!

It took a day for Mingyu to go around and poke his nose in everything and come back with the information that 'The higher ups' told to let it go. Since the man who was killed did not have any decent background, neither any family who will look after him, they said nobody was going to bat an eye.

And infact nobody did. The same people who were going crazy a day before were back at pretending nothing happened when more than a day passed.

Coups was glad Jeonghan hadn't asked him about his release and hadn't complained about it either. Cause if he did, what was he even supposed to soothe him with? He didn't even know when Jeonghan was getting released, it might be within months or maybe years.

Was Scoups going to wait for years? Just so he can see Jeonghan once again?

The answer was obvious, and the more Seungcheol thought about it, the more he realised Jeonghan was nothing but a pit hole. And Seungcheol at this point had lost himself in that. He became a part of that pit that he didn't even hesitate to reply his own question with an answer of absolute 'Yes'.

He'll wait for Jeonghan if Jeonghan wants him to. If Jeonghan asked him, he'll wait for him like it's what he was supposed to be doing all along.

Only if he didn't have to leave.

But it was a truth he couldn't deny. And as slowly as his release date came near, the peace of his mind fought with the will of his heart. If this was his case, how bad it was going on with Wonwoo? Seungcheol couldn't help but think about it sometimes, and the answer always came in a form of Wonwoo who was getting more closed off with people around him and little more tilting towards Mingyu.

If it was about lunches, dinners, games, or anything that Wonwoo knew Mingyu would be doing at the moment, he liked to stick around him pretty silently. Sometimes, in the line of cafeteria, when Mingyu would turn around, he would almost collide with Wonwoo, well because Wonwoo was that silent that it just makes taller forget he existed there.

Not to mention the only reason Mingyu turns around is to find him. The taller will never accept it, but Seungcheol knows Mingyu more than Mingyu knows himself.

Jeonghan on the other hand was not like Wonwoo. Wonwoo liked to stick to Mingyu and so did Jeonghan when it came to Seungcheol. The only thing different in both aspects was that Jeonghan was demanding and getting clingier day by day, something that only brought a smile of fondness on Seungcheol's face.

Like he would hug him a little tighter than most days when he is sleeping with him. He would touch his hair and ruffle it all of sudden, he would even compliment Seungcheol about how his skin is soft or how strong he is in comparison to him. He would always sit a little closer to him anywhere he goes, and more importantly, he didn't left his side the whole week.

It was like Jeonghan was mentally preparing himself that after this week, there will be no Seungcheol for him to be clingy towards. And that's where Seungcheol felt like giving up.

The urge in Seungcheol to stay beside Jeonghan was so high that he sometimes had to fight his heart with rationality. It wasn't possible. He had to leave.

This was the end. It was bound to happen.

So when his release date arrived, he tried to pretend happy for the sake of his two idiots. He was finally given a decent cloth, a white cotton shirt and a blue jeans while other officers prepared for his departure with the documents and his belongings. He didn't had any belonging though.
