"Don't you have anything you want to ask?"

At the question, the taller looked at the man who sat beside him, the one who looked at him like there indeed was something Mingyu was supposed to ask him. Mingyu himself was sure that few days ago, there were few things haunting his mind.

But right now, Mingyu couldn't remember anything.

They though came out with the intension to walk around, it was still a mystery to Mingyu of how they ended up on field, sitting on the untouched green grasses grown on the ground (the amount of 'g' here makes me want to sing 'gee gee gee gee baby baby bae') and locking their eyes before looking away again.

"Was there?" Mingyu focused on peeling the grass off from it's bunch, too afraid to let his eyes meet that of Wonwoo's, "I don't think it matters anymore though."

"It matters to me." The sentence slipped off from the older's tongue too honestly than he had intended, "I don't want you to think of me as a unreasonable jerk anymore."

"It's okay." Mingyu silently patted the grass as if he was picturing his heart in there, "I am not asking for any reasons, neither i think you are an unreasonable jerk. You are good in your own way. It's fine."

"It's not."

"It is." Mingyu admitted almost immediately, "Your past or future does not concerns me. If it would have, why would I even choose you to give my heart?"

The taller looked at the older, the man who was frozen upon hearing that statement, "I love the Wonwoo who lives in the present, that's you. why does it matter now if I know your past or not."

There was silence for a while, silence in which Mingyu stared at the grass before him and Wonwoo solely stared at him, as still as ever.

"I know I am handsome," Mingyu spat the next second, "Stop staring at me like some short of virgin ghost."

"......."

Within seconds, Wonwoo found himself laughing to that statement, memories flooding back in his mind as he scooted a little closer towards the taller, a smile adorning his lips as he tried to hide it away, "I still like your hair though."

"Beside that hair of mine," The taller turned his neck, his eyes focused on the glass bearing man, "Is there anything else you like about me?"

Was Mingyu being sarcastic? Yes, but Jeon Wonwoo had this stupid small smile dancing on his lips that made the taller rethink his life, "I like you, as in whole. Not just hair, not just these muscles, i like all of you. Your smile, your voice, the way you whine, the way you laugh, the way you love, I like every ounce of those."

"I like you to the point it physically hurts."

The words just left a bitter taste in Mingyu's mouth, his eyes going back to staring the ground, his heart shattered, "Is it even love if it hurts?"

"Is it even love if it not hurts?"

"You are being weird again."

"Wasn't i always the weird freaky one of the prison?" Wonwoo laughed at his own humour, "People wouldn't even call me sane, yet you chose me. Why?"

"It felt right." Mingyu's head again turned to look at the older, "With you, everything felt right. There was nothing for me to doubt, to contemplate, to worry or to even search for when I was with you. It felt like I was whole. It felt right."

Jeon Wonwoo was never that used to honesty.

"Yet i broke your heart....."

"Not really." Mingyu picked up a grass from the ground, evergreen and soft, "But still it's quite same in that sense. I was lonely when you left, thinking where did it went wrong. Out of all things i thought, you ignoring the existence out of me was the least expected. You could've hated me, cursed me, fought with me even, but that ignorance, that broke me from inside. All i wanted to do was hear your voice and all i received was silence. It didn't broke my heart Wonwoo, it shattered my soul, pierced it and made it's sharp ends hurt me everyday, everytime, every second. It just didn't broke my heart, not my heart."
