"What would you do for the person you love, Coups?"
The question was so sudden that it only earned a "Huh?" of confusion from Seungcheol. Jeonghan on the other hand thought Coups didn't understand his question so he repeated for him again, "I meant would you also push them away like Wonwoo or-"
Before Jeonghan could even utter the second part, Seungcheol meddled in between, "I don't know. I have never loved someone so-"
Jeonghan's head rose up like a fish in the pond, "You haven't?!"
"Why is it so surprising?" Seungcheol was taken aback, "Do I look like someone who knows a shit about love and thing? I don't even know how it feels like to be in love, let alone treating someone, it's like out of question."
Jeonghan's head went back to where it was, right on Seungcheol's chest, "Forget about it then. I thought you were experienced than me but it ended up being that you and me both are on same page."
"You haven't either?" Seungcheol asked, curious.
Jeonghan scoffed at that, "If I was an experienced man, why would I ask you about it?" And Jeonghan was right, he indeed looks like someone who is more inexperienced that Seungcheol himself.Like that man thinks laughing with someone is like flirting with them, no way in hell Jeonghan has an ounce of affection given to him that was romantic in anyway.
He also didn't look like he had the environment where people were in love with eachother, cause honestly enough, Jeonghan's conceptions about love were so wrong, romantic and platonic, both.
Not like Seungcheol had some degree in figuring out feelings but still, he can differentiate between being platonic and romantic, Jeonghan on the other hand, couldn't.
Every romantic thing was platonic to him and every platonic thing was romantic.
"So," Jeonghan continued, "By any chance if you were in love, how would you treat your partner then?"
There was only one answer of it in Seungcheol's head.
Like I am treating you.
"I don't know." Is all he replied with, quite taken aback by his own thoughts.
Well he sure was becoming clingy with Jeonghan, definitely liking the way Jeonghan likes to be all over him, but again, the answer that came in his mind was still very hard to digest.
Isn't he treating Jeonghan....like people treat their other half?
What the fuck?!
"I can understand." Jeonghan gave him an understanding nod and Seungcheol couldn't understand what he understood. He ended up looking at him, asking him to explain what was he thinking, "I mean we both are on same page anyway, and looking at you, i don't think you ever thought about love and thing. It's understandable as well. But I have thought about it, like lots of times, but there are few questions I still can't understand."
"Like?"
"Like if I were in love, how would I even know it? I have seen main characters of novels getting up a day and being like, 'I am in love' but I think that's bullshit."
Well, Seungcheol thinks that's bullshit as well.
"I can't understand how can you get up a day and be like 'I love them'? Isn't there supposed to be a process? Like few steps or symptoms? Look at diseases, if temperature is high, you might be having fever, if your stomach is aching, you might have eaten something indigestible, if you are feeling fatigue, your body might be lacking iron, then why does when it comes to love, there is noy symptoms? How am I even supposed to know that I like them?!"
