"Why isn't he opening the door? " Jolly frowned as she kept pressing the doorbell.

She and Bella had come over to Mihit's place with some ulterior motives. One, they had to make sure that Sarth was with Mihit. They were afraid that Sarth was too blinded by love that he would go to look for Kitty again.

The fact that he snapped every time Anwit's name was mentioned made them feel that nothing was going on between the two and that he was too lovesick and would go running back to Kitty.

The second reason was that they wanted to meet Ayut and Anwit.

" Neither of them are picking the call as well, " Bella added, mirroring an expression similar to that of Jolly's.

Their attention was caught by the person who just exited the elevator. They recognized this person- Anwit. They had seen his pictures on Sarth's phone.

"Nong, " Bella called out in excitement.

Anwit, who had just returned from the gym was a bit surprised by the enthusiasm of the two ladies. He was one hundred percent sure that neither of them was a resident of the building.

"Khrab? " He answered as they walked up to him.

" You are Anwit, right? " Bella asked.

"Khrab, " Anwit nodded.

" I am Sarth's mom na. This is Mihit's mom. " Bella said pointing at Jolly.

"Swadee Khrab, " Anwit quickly waied, pressing down the question in his heart about how they knew him and his name.

The two women smilingly waied back.

" We came to give the kids some things. " Jolly raised the basket she was carrying as an excuse to visit her son. " But they are not opening the door. Neither are they picking up our calls too, " She said with a pitiful expression.

" That, Aunt, P' Mihit is not home. He was working overtime and stayed at the office. There's no one home. " Anwit explained.

Jolly and Bella exchanged glances. " Then, do you know where Sarth is? He told us that he would be staying here. "

" P' Sarth is at my place, Khrab. His phone got damaged. Maybe that's why you are unable to reach him." Anwit said as he led the two of them to his apartment.

" You are back! Freshen up and come I have made breakfast. " He heard Sarth's voice from the kitchen.

Sarth had taken the liberty to prepare breakfast for both of them to thank Anwit's hospitality.

He froze when saw the two women who Anwit had brought along with him. He knew he was screwed.

"I'll go freshen up. You guys carry on. " Anwit escaped the place as soon as he could. He wasn't interested in socializing with those women at all.

Once Anwit was out of sight, Sarth headed towards the two women. "Mom, Aunt, what are you two doing here? "

The first reply he got was a smack from his mom.

"If you wanted to move in with your boyfriend, you could have just told us the truth. Why did you have to lie to us about staying with Hit?" Bella reprimanded her son.

It was true that she opposed his previous relationship, but that didn't mean that she would oppose all his potential partners. She just felt that Kitty wasn't a suitable match for her son.

" Mom, neither is Anwit my boyfriend nor am I moving in with him. " Sarth clarified. He was terrified at the possibility that the ladies might ask something inappropriate to Anwit, thinking that they were boyfriends. " I am just staying here for the night as Mihit couldn't come back home. Please don't make a big fuss out of this. "

" Do you think that we are going to believe that? " Bella retorted with a snort.

Jolly nudged her and asked her to shut up for the time being. She then turned to Sarth. " Are you two making any progress yet?"

"No, Aunt. I am still pursuing him. " Sarth lied. He knew that he had no way back now. He had lied over and over again. He had to keep it going.

"That's good to hear. " Jolly smiled. " How about you introduce us to him? "

Before he could answer, they saw Anwit coming downstairs, dressed in work clothes.

" Anwit, son, are you going to work? " Jolly asked the obvious.

"Khrab" Anwit answered. He thought that the women must have left by the time he returned. He was disappointed that they didn't.

"Where do you work, Nong? " Bella asked eagerly.

"At Radio Euphoria, Khrab" Anwit replied.

The smile on the two women's faces disappeared in a split second. "Are you Kitty's colleague?"

"I was. She got fired from our company on the day P' Sarth broke up with her."

Sarth went on to explain why Kitty was fired and other details. Jolly and Bella quickly cheered up on hearing the downfall of the woman who broke their son's heart. They felt that Kitty deserved it.

Despite his reservations, the two women made sure that Anwit answered all their questions.

"Anwit, what do you think about our Sarth?" Jolly asked smilingly. She was curious to know if the relationship between the two was heading somewhere.

Anwit gave Sarth a quick glance and answered with an awkward smile. "Em, he is not bad." 'Just a bit stupid.' He thought in his mind but didn't say it out loud.

Bella and Jolly started praising Sarth in front of Anwit and the latter sat there listening to the two women unwillingly.

Sarth on the other hand felt that his mom and aunt sounded a lot like a door-to-door salesman who was praising the product that he wanted to sell.

"Anwit, don't you think that our Sarth would make a good boyfriend?" Bella asked.

Sarth literally wanted to tape his mother's mouth. He didn't know that his mother was this desperate to get him into another relationship.

' How on earth am I supposed to know? Why the heck would she even ask me that in the first place? ' Anwit thought in his mind while maintaining his smile. "I guess?"

What else could he say in a situation like this?

"Then, why don't you make him your boyfriend?" Bella asked directly.

"W- What?" Anwit was too dumbfounded to answer that question.

"Mom is just joking. Just joking," Sarth tried to dissolve the situation and laugh it off.

"Move aside kid," Bella pushed him away. "Look Anwit, we are not trying to be nosy, but we want to suggest that you two should take a step forward in your relationship."

'First of all, you 'are' being nosy. Second, what relationship are you talking about, Aunt? I have no relationship with this son of yours.'  Anwit screamed mentally.

"We are not saying that you two should become boyfriends right away, but we do hope that both of you could go out on dates and get to know each other better. We wish that you two won't go into the Gen Z zones like situationships, open relationships, and that kind of stuff." Jolly chimed.

Sarth felt his soul leaving his body. He knew that his lie was about to be caught. Just as he was about to say something to stop his mother and aunt, he heard Anwit speak up.

"We would like to do things at our own pace, Aunt. We want to take it slow."
