Ray's pov
~~~I was in the kitchen with my cousin, Sebastian. And of course he was annoying me.
"What are you making, Ray?" Sebastian asked. He pushed a short strand of black hair out of his face, pulling himself up onto my counter.
"I'm making huevo rancheros." I replied, staring at the pan.
Sebastian looked over at the pan, he looked at me and lifted a brow, "You fucked those up. You sure you know how to cook?"
I rolled my eyes, "Yes, Sebastian, I know how to cook. My mom taught me."
He glanced down towards the food, "Hm. . . Maybe it's been a while since I've seen her, but I always thought Tía Isabella was a good cook."
I turned to him, "Now you listen here you little shit."
"What, you're gonna stand there and tell me I'm wrong?" He asked.
We started arguing for almost 5 minutes, with me occasionally checking on the food. We both turned towards the kitchen door.
"Norman!" We yelled.
We were planning on letting Norman decide if the food looked okay or not. That is until, Norman came trudging into the kitchen. He looked. . . terrible, put simply.
"Jesus Christ dude." Sebastian said, "You look like you were tied to the back of someone's truck by your hair and then dragged through the mud."
Norman glanced over at him and sighed, "What'd you guys call me in here for anyways? Is the food done?"
Sebastian laughed, "Norman, I don't think you want to eat that food. It looks like the mud you were dragged through."
"My food is perfectly fine, Sebastian." I said. "Why are you even here anyways?"
"To hang out with my favorite cousin of course." He said, putting an arm around me.
I rolled my eyes, "Food is done."
Sebastian smiled, "Yay food!"
Norman squinted his eyes in confusion at him, "Weren't you just insulting the food?"
Sebastian shrugged and sat down after getting his plate of food. Norman and I soon joined him at the table.
"So, what are you guys wearing to Reina's wedding?" Sebastian asked.
I looked up at him, "Wedding?"
He stopped mid-chew to stare at me, "They didn't tell you? It's happening in only three days." He muttered in Spanish when I shook my head no, "Those fuckers." he said in English.
He held his fork in his hand as he pointed at me, "You know what, Reina told me that her mom was in charge of the invitations. And you know how Tía Carmilla is towards you."
I nodded.
We all continued to eat, once he was done he said goodbye and left. Of course, he came during breakfast time to get free food. Now I get it.
Norman collected the dishes and started washing them. He would occasionally stop washing them to look out of the kitchen window.
I smiled and walked up behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist softly. I let my head rest on his shoulder for a few seconds before kissing his cheek softly, "I'm going to go work on one of my projects."
He nodded and I pulled my arms off of him. I headed outside to a shed I kept all of the things I work on in. I sat down on the rolling chair I keep in there and got to work, eventually Norman stepped outside and sat on the other chair I keep in here.
