Ray's pov
~~~I woke up feeling like shit. It's the worst I've ever felt. Putting the way I felt aside I got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
After doing what I needed to do in there I went to the kitchen to get some much needed coffee. I leaned against the counter playing on my phone and drinking coffee when Norman walked in.
He yawned and stretched his arms, "Morning Ray."
"Morning." I replied my voice sounding worse than I thought it would.
Even in his tired state Norman picked up on the odd change in my voice. He stared at me and squinted his eyes as if that would do something.
"What's wrong with your voice?" he asked, "Are you sick?"
"I don't think I am." I said.
"Your voice says otherwise." he walked over to me and placed a hand on my head, "You're hot."
"Thanks." I replied.
He rolled his eyes, "While you are hot, I mean a different way this time. You're burning up."
"I prefer it when you call me attractive. 'Burning up' is associated with being sick, being sick isn't very fun, you should know that." I said.
He sighed, "You're saying stuff but they make no sense, you are sick."
He grabbed my hand as I continued saying complete nonsense that not even I knew what it meant.
He pushed me on the bed, which resulted in a sex joke, and pulled the blankets on me and told me to go to sleep.
I slowly went back to sleep, which honestly wasn't too bad, until I woke up and my arm was asleep. I stood up and walked to the living room, where I saw Norman sitting on the couch watching tv.
"Do you feel better?" he asked when he noticed me.
"No."
"Then go back to bed, I told your mom that you're sick and she said she'll come over once she buys a few things. I think your dad is coming over too."
"You told my parents I'm sick because I didn't want to admit it?"
"Yes. Your mom also told me that you've always had a problem admitting you're sick, would you like to talk about that?"
"No" I said then I turned away. I went back to the room and dreaded the moment I'd hear the doorbell ring.
When the doorbell rang I heard Norman open it and then I heard footsteps heading my way.
"Leslie, pass me the VapoRub." Mom said, dad passed it to her and next thing I knew it was being rubbed all over my neck. "Alright, Leslie I'll help you cook the pozole, Norman you spray everything in this room with Lysol, Ray you can sit in the living room only if you're wrapped in a blanket at all times."
Mom and dad walked out of the room. I glared at Norman, "Why would you call them?"
"For your health." he said before spraying the Lysol everywhere like mom asked.
A few hours later the food was done and my parents visiting suddenly didn't seem too bad. Until they unpacked their bags and I found out they were staying over until I got better.
I'm finally back on Wattpad, its been like a week or two but for me it felt like two months. I actually started working on this chapter before I went offline completely but then I had to go to my dads house so I couldn't finish the chapter.
