Cherri stood in front of the stove, a pot with pancake batter cooking on top of it. Cherri yawned as she watched the pancake cook.

Stella emerged from the hallway, stretching her arms. The three of them, were Stella, Cherri, and Angel. Went out a few days after they found Cherri to buy clothes. Stella had found plenty of Fallen Angels shirts she bought to her heart's content, she had one on at that moment.

It's been three weeks since they found each other. Neither Toxin nor Pierce have shown up yet.

"Where's Angel?" Stella asked as she came up behind Cherri, "Pancakes?"

"She went in for an interview at the d-diner. She also suggested pancakes for breakfast before she left." Cherri explained, Stella nodded, yawning. Stella tilted her head to look over Cherri and at the pancake she flipped.

"We should g-go out and do something." Stella blinked at Cherri's words.

"Did Angel suggest that too?" Stella asked sarcastically. The question still stuck in her head.

"No... She did say that we c-can go out while she's gone if we want." Cherri grabbed a plate that already had one pancake and added a second. She turned around to put it on the table but Stella grabbed it out of her hands first.

Cherri stared at Stella as the girl sat it down on the table. "Those are yours... By the way."

     "Thank you." Stella smiled.

"There's... A carnival in town that's going on tonight. We can still go." Cherri suggested as she turned around. Stella cut a triangle shape out of the pancakes after she put syrup on them.

      "That sounds nice." And cliché.

      "She's trying, don't be a dick."

      Shut up.

      "Just helping with your date."

You're not- Stella clenched her fingers around the fork in her hand, she decided to block Ella out by eating the pancakes.

"It doesn't s-start till 6, we can go anytime you want." Cherri flipped another pancake, and Stella ate slowly as she watched the other. "We can catch up... It's been weeks and we've b-barely talked. Or gotten the chance to."

     "Okay."

      "So you want to go?"

      "Yeah."

"The song was a hit, Nova." Lana scrolled through comments on a new YouTube video. Nova and Lana posted their first song together. They had just performed it before posting it. They weren't going to but they were convinced. "They love it."

"They better," Nova leaned over to glance at the phone screen before kissing Lana's forehead, right above her eyebrow. "They asked for it."

There was a knock on the door before a shout, "Are you decent?!"

"Yes!" They both yelled back, the door then opened to Jaleigha and Madeline's smiling faces.

"Guys, guys, guys!" Jaleigha ran in, grabbed Nova by her wrist, and tried pulling her out of bed. "The carnival we met at is open again tonight! Me and Madeline got tickets for you as a surprise."

"Wait, really? Guys, you shouldn't have."

"It's nothing really. And you can take your smoking hot girl on a double date with us." Jaleigha pointed at herself and Madeline. "Except we're going as friends."
