Warning: Violence and Death
A/N: I love Control Z sm and this song"Hey, sister."
Stella gasped, and the girl made her way down beside the masked figure. Her arm wrapped around them, and her eyes, they were a forest green. Her hair was too, but the ends of her hair were black, some of it spreading up parts of her hair.
"Nova?" Stella felt the air grow cold, her lip quivered, and she felt like tears were going to fall from her eyes. They didn't but she knew they were going to eventually.
"What were the last words she told you, hm?" The masked person asked, Nova chuckled, her voice also sounded slightly different. "Do you know, Stella?"
"What did you do to her?" Stella asked, avoiding the question she was given.
"Did you ever apologize? Do you know how much you hurt her?" The masked person asked, avoiding Stella's question. ""You chose to leave my life, so stay out of it."? Didn't you say that?"
"I-..."
"Leave her alone," Myth said, stepping forward.
"Oh, you," The masked figure laughed, it was unnerving, even to Myth. "You want to know who I am?" They asked, tilting their head. "Well, I'll show you." Stella waited in anticipation, she had an idea, just from the color of the girl's hair and the sound of her voice but the way she talked, the way she behaved was so different than the girl Stella knew.
The figure raised its hands to its head, placed them on the edges of the mask, and slowly began pulling it up and off her head. Stella's eyes got a bit wide as she waited, the mask slid off and dropped to their side, she shook her head, fixing parts of her hair when she did.
A breath left Stella's lips. "You're..."
"Alive?" She laughed, "Barely."
"No..." Stella couldn't pull her eyes off her face, her face was... ruined. Burn scars spread across her face, she was missing an eye, Stella's face winced slightly when she saw it.
"You look good," Myth suddenly said, Cherri's eyes flicked to her, even though she would change where her eyes were on and looked weird. Erie. "For a dead girl," She tried to add humor to the situation, Cherri's head tilted, not finding it funny. But it didn't seem to irritate her.
"You look different," Stella said, Cherri's whole head turned to her, the way it turned was stiff. Her eyes wouldn't blink, she's blinked once or twice throughout the whole meeting.
"We all look different," Cherri said, "Don't we?" There was a sudden sound, a sound of pain. Lana was hunched over, her legs shook before she collapsed onto her knees. She sounded like she was choking, there was a strain sometimes, like she was trying to force something out.
Another spider, maybe.
"Stella, get back," Myth said, pushing her back as Lana choked on the ground, her hands hitting the floor as she heaved. The pain sound was back as one hand reached her forehead.
"Lana...?" Angel sat up, her voice rough still. Her eyes trailed away from Lana and to Nova, "N... Nova?" She coughed, her legs dropping off the edge of the couch and getting to her feet.
"Angel, stop," Myth warned, she quit looking into the future a while ago, and the last thing she saw was what happened with Angel, and most of it came true. She didn't see past it, looking to the future, and changing good and bad things was what Ella did. What the monster inside her did.
