"Has she ever mentioned... being different?"Different.
Ha, I fucking wish.Years ago, years before Stella was taken to the prison. Before the project was ever set out.
A 10-year-old child, Michelle Martinez.
Phenomesian. Monster.Phycho kid kills the unexpecting mother.
I am not a monster.
Electric lines. A lullaby. Innocent at best. The song was about birds perching on the electric lines, just those two on the wire. Nobody else in the world mattered but them.
It was a song about a mother bird and a baby bird. The song Michelle's mother would sing to her when she fed her as a baby, the song she'd sing to get Michelle to fall asleep.
The version Michelle sang was a corrupted version. Moments after she murdered her mother.
"Only fools go into battles they know they can't win and only fools don't finish their adversaries."
A quote from the book The City of Destruction. The book is about the past of Indigopia. Michelle was always fascinated with the book. Illusion, Aneira solider.
Aneira was a kingdom that existed in the north of Indigopia. It was said to have a magical being that caused it to be cold and covered in snow. It was said to be a curse by an evil dragon.
Michelle always found a fascination with the girl. She was blunt and straightforward, sometimes overbearingly mean. She was cold.
Illusion ends with Blossom, they fell in love. Blossom encouraged a change in Illusion's personality. Blossom was a complicated character, Blossom was also an enemy of Michelle.
"Why did it have to be me?" Stella once asked her, "Why is it me you have to torture?"
Cherri. She was originally after Cherri. Until...
Tests. Training. Manipulation.
Michelle was soon a killing machine. A weapon of mass destruction. Perfect.I am a monster.
All she ever knew was destroy. Kill and kill, leave no one left. They were training her for war, that's what the entire deal was. Project: Sunshine was a front.
She didn't know how to be a person. How to change.
I don't want to be this way.
But there is no escape from what has been done. No way to reverse years of torture. She was a broken excuse of a person. An immoral, cruel, and monstrous piece of shit.
Monster.
Monster.
"You created a monster, sir."
"I'm not a monster!" She screamed, tubes attached all over her, pumping her with energy. Fueling her rage.
She breathed deeply, she had murdered several prison guards and several prisoners. "I'm afraid you have to restart with somebody else, sir."
"Estella Rophur."
Michelle wasn't anything more than a killer. She wasn't a person. She didn't have any other purpose other than to kill. So when she found out they were restarting she was pissed.
I don't want to be a monster... I don't want to be anything.Contradicting. She couldn't be something and a normal person. She was broken. She was either a monster with the purpose of killing or a monster with nothing.
I don't want to be nothing.
