Chapter 40

It has been a few weeks since then, Alastor and Lucifer were busy planning for their wedding as Charlie got excited and would ask them when the wedding would come. Margaret was helping them plan with her children Barbara and William, even with William's silly lover Charles. (Again read the Margaret OC book to understand what happened, please?🥺🙏)

William's wings were still a bit injured from those weeks ago, so he had his wings folded up like a bird as he helped his mother out.

Angel was at the bar talking to Husk until he got a text from Valentino, which was a uh... A d!ck pic....

"Ugh.... This fucking bitch won't leave me alone" Angel said as he rolled his eyes on disgust. "If only you could get free from his ass..." Husk said as he sighs, just like that, Lucifer was passing by and overheard them.

"What's going on?" Lucifer asked a bit curious. "Nothing much short king.... Should you be planning on you and Al's wedding?" Angel then asked.

"I can do that as well, I just want to help you out!" Lucifer said, as he was being friendly with him.

"Nice of ya to try.... But it's something that you can't really help... Mainly since I'm under a fucking contract with Val.... Meaning I sold my soul to him, only because he tricked me by having me sign it..." Angel said as he got pissed off at that before feeling sad about it.

"Hm.... I can free you from your contract Angel?" Lucifer then suggested to him.

"Huh? You could do that shit??" Angel asked him with curiosity, then Husk went wide-eyed as he heard that.

"Yes I can, so can I? So you don't have to do as he says anymore?" Lucifer then asked.

"Fuck it... Do it, I don't want to deal with his ass anymore" Angel then said as he wanted to get this over with.

"Alright then!" Lucifer then made Valentino's contract to him before setting it into flames. "And done! You are free now!"

"Oh wow! Thank you!" Angel said as he was grateful for that. No problem!" Lucifer said with a smile.

"Hey so... Maybe you ca-" Husk immediately shut up as soon as he saw Alastor appear in the doorway glaring at Husk, telling him to shush and not say anything. "... Actually nevermind... It was nothing..." Husk said as his cat ears went down before drinking his booze.

"Husky..? Short king maybe you can help Hus-" Angel was about to say before Husk shushed him. "No Angel, I do not need any help" Husk said as he was sounding as convincing as possible.

"Hm? Well if that's the case I should go on my way then" Lucifer said as he turned around only to be greeted by a friendly smile from Alastor. "Oh hey Al, how long were you there?" Lucifer said, as he smiled a bit but was also curious of how long he was standing there.

"Just got here Lu~" Alastor said in a cheery tone in his voice. "Aww" Lucifer said before jumping into Alastor's arms.

"Shit.... That's why you wanted to stay quiet..." Angel said to Husk as he was worried about him.

"It's fine Angel.... At least you're free from Valentino.... That's what matters..." Husk said with a smile as he was definitely happy with that. "Husky..." Angel said as his gaze softened at Husk.

Meanwhile back with William, Charles, Barbara, and Margaret they were helping out by getting everything ready, and even making sure the garden was nice, like trimming flowers and making sure everything was perfect for the special day.

William looked at a branch that needed to be trimmed as he was trying to spread out his angel wings to go fly and trim the branch but they were still sore that once he jumped, he fell which Charles caught him.

"Ah... Thanks Charles... It feels weird not using my wings as much...." William said as he tried to stretch out his wings but ended up still feeling pain from them.

"I think it's best that you don't use your wings for now until they fully heal.... Ever since your grandpa sliced you in the back with an angelic knife... I think it will most likely take a while to heal.... But hey, at least he's most likely fucking dead for once!" Charles said as he sounded glad that he is gone for good.

"Yeah that's true... He did sounded like a bitch especially since he tried to kill my uncle who my dad decided to hook up with.... I still don't know how to feel about that, it's more awkward than anything? Well, it's for the better I guess... So my father can leave my mother alone for once.... She deserves to feel free especially from him" William said with a smile.

"Yeah that's true... Well I'm just glad you survived.... I don't know what I would do if you died..." Charles said as he was saddened by the fact. "Hey... I'm here, don't worry now..." William said as he kissed Charles, Barbara noticed as she smiled at them and looked at them in awe.

A month has passed by, it was now the night before Alastor's and Lucifer's wedding, as they were going to their room, Charlie stopped them.

"Ahem! You should know it's bad luck to sleep with each other the night before the wedding! So only for tonight.... Dad, go sleep in your own room for now and Alastor you stay in yours! Just for tonight, ok?" Charlie then told them.

"... You do have a point Char-Char... Well, see you at the wedding Al..." Lucifer said to Alastor as he gave him a kiss before heading back to his old room, he hasn't been in there for awhile as he noticed the pile of ducks everywhere in his room before jumping into his bed as he was missing Alastor already but he sighs as he reminded himself that it was just for tonight.
