Vox was more confused than usual. Alastor might had admitted to liking Vox at one point but Vox has always been fascinated with Alastor.
Vox remembers the night they met at the bar so vividly. It was his favorite memory.

*In the past*
Vox was sitting at the bar. He was trying to start a tv empire in hell. Something he had in the living world. Vox felt lost. Every time he tried to start a tv broadcast or try to convince other overlords that this was the future, Vox was laughed at. The overlords told him he would never out due the Radio Demon. He controlled all of media and he hated the new technology people brought in. Vox felt lost, he liked the Radio Demon's work but if no one would give Vox's work a shot how was he suppose to become one of them.
"How unfortunate," someone with a smooth radio voice said behind Vox.
Vox turned around to see the radio demon himself. Vox felt flushed.
"How does a sinner like yourself get cursed with a television as a head?" Alastor asked as he leaned against his cane.
"It's you," Vox said with peer amazement.
"Sorry, how rude of me. My name is Alastor pleasure to meet you," Alastor said holding out his hand.
"My name is Vox," Vox said taking his hand.
"My dear new friend, let me buy you a drink," Alastor stated as he ordered two bourbons.
Vox followed Alastor to a table. He stared at the drink in front of him.
"So, Vox was it. How did you get a television as a head?" Alastor asked.
"I was a television host that was electrocuted on set," Vox said taking a swig of the bourbon.
"Fascinating," Alastor said. "What are your plans in hell?"
"To be become an overlord," Vox said staring at the demon in front of him.
"You and every other sinner in hell," Alastor laughed as well as some shadows behind him.
"Yeah well I got something they don't," Vox answered back.
"Oh, technology yes," Alastor said taking a drink of his bourbon. "Well I control all of the entertainment and you don't know how hell works."
"Yeah, I know," Vox said feeling frustrated that this demon already has him figured out.
"If you work with me and explain this new technology. I can give you what you want," Alastor said with a devilish smile.
"I'm not making deals with you," Vox answered back. "I am smarter than that."
"No deal. Just a partnership in a way," Alastor replied.
Vox sat there confused.
"Plus you have no where else to go," Alastor said.
That part was true Vox had been scraping by but he was tired and just needed to rest.
"Come stay with me and you can do chores for repayment," Alastor said.
Vox followed the demon and that's how it started.

*present time*
Vox sat trying to remember how he got there. How he missed the friendship that once was. Val came barging into Vox's penthouse. The modern looking floor with fancy technology and black accents with blue everywhere.
"What are you doing here?" Vox said as he put his tablet down.
Vox had the tablet to watch Alastor read and was drinking some tea. Vox wanted to be there with him but he couldn't push Alastor too much like he had been.
"I am here because you have been ignoring my advances and you know how pissy that makes me," Val said as he threw himself into the couch.
Vox scooted away. He didn't want to be around Val and his whiny advances.
"You have whores for that," Vox said.
"What has gotten into you?" Val asked in anger.
" I busy with a new project and I can't fuck you every time you need me," Vox replied reaching for the tablet.
"What is this new project that is so important?" Val said as he took a drag of his cigarette.
"One with a deadline," Vox said. "I only had it for one week but I have eleven left. I need to figure it out."
"This new deal have something to do with it?" Val asked as he blew smoke at Vox.
"Yes," Vox said.
"Do I get to know about it?" Val said as he climbed over Vox.
"No," Vox said.
"What if I," Val said as he tried to feel up Vox's chest.
"God not now" Vox said as he pushed Val off of him.
"You dating someone new?" Val asked.
"What?!" Vox said as his eye glitched.
"You get this way every time you find sex somewhere else." Val said while sitting on the floor. "Who have you been fucking this time?"
"No one!" Vox said in anger.
Val saw the tablet fell to the ground he grabbed it sneakily.
"God I'm getting a drink," Vox said as he got up.
"You do that baby," Val said that just so Vox would be gone longer.
Val opened and typed Vox's password into the tablet. There it was staring at him. Alastor reading a book, humming and sipping tea.
"Holy shit! How did you get cameras into the hotel?!" Val screamed in excitement.
Vox dropped the glass he was holding.
"WHY ARE YOU ON MY TABLET?!" Vox screamed as he ran over to Val and ripped it from his hands.
"You are being so difficult about this?" Val mocked taking a drag from his cigarette. "Doesn't take a genius now. You own him and you want him to be your own little play toy."
"Fuck you," Vox said.
"You don't have to share Voxy. I just want every filthy detail," Val laughed.
"Fuck you get out," Vox demanded as he pointed towards the doors of the elevator.
"Ok I'll leave so you can watch your whore in piece," Val said as he left the room.
Fuck, this could go two ways, Vox thought. And neither were going to be great.
