Alastor was alone in his room trying to read a book. It had been a week since Vox had tried to contact him. Alastor sweared that one of cameras died or turned off. Alastor wanted to see Vox again but couldn't admit it.
Vox sat listening to one of the interns explain something. Vox just signed the paper and left the room. Vox wanted to teleport Alastor to his penthouse and apologize for pushing. He wants to beg for Alastor's forgiveness but Vox knew if he tried to get close, Alastor always pushed him away. Vox was caught in hard place.
Alastor had to think of some way to get to Vox. Alastor sighed knowing one way and it was stupid. Alastor got up and left his room.
Vox was staring at the clock. It was well past two and Alastor's broadcast never started. Vox really fucked up if Alastor wasn't going to broadcast. Vox flipped brought the old timey radio he kept in his room. Just then his phone rang. Vox jumped and answered it.
"What?!" He screamed .
"Sir," the front desk person stuttered. "There's an overlord here to see you."
Vox was confused he had no meetings and if it was Vel or Val they would just came into his room.
"I'll be right down," Vox said as he hung up the phone.Vox exited the elevator and walked to the front desk. People were taking pictures of Vox. There Vox saw Alastor humming away looking at a poster for one of Vox's new tablets.
"Alastor?" Vox called as he was confused why the radio demon showed up.
"Ahh there you are old chum," Alastor called greeting Vox as he walked over.
"What are you doing here?" Vox asked.
"Just seeing if you need my assistance," Alastor responded. "You haven't called me in over a week. I was checking to make sure you didn't forget about our deal."
Vox just stared at Alastor. Alastor came here to the tower on his own. Vox was confused but he also understood something. Alastor wouldn't admit he was missing Vox but he would make his way to see him.
"I missed you too," Vox teased.
"Yes quite," Alastor said as he cleared his throat. "May we head somewhere without all these sinners?"
"Why of course," Vox said as he led Alastor to the elevator.
Alastor stepped on and Vox followed.
"Where would you like to go?" Vox asked staring at the buttons.
"Anywhere," Alastor said.
"Got it to the porn studio," Vox joked.
"Not there," Alastor was quick to respond.
"I was joking, calm down," Vox said as he pressed the button to go to his penthouse.
Alastor watched as they traveled up and followed Vox off the elevator. Vox didn't know what to do.
"Would you like a drink?" Vox offered still confused on where in the penthouse to go.
"Why of course," Alastor said as he led himself to the living room.
Vox got them wine as it was only the late afternoon. Vox handed the glass of red to Alastor and stared at him.
"You alright old friend?" Alastor asked as he smelled the wine.
"Why are you here?" Vox remarked.
"I am here to check in on our deal," Alastor replied. "You went from calling to your service every day to ignoring all together again."
"We fought," Vox said.
"We always fight," Alastor said as he took a sip. "That's what we do."
"You came back to honor your deal," Vox said trying to make sense why Alastor showed up.
"Why of course," Alastor said. "I believe one of the cameras died in my room. The book shelf one."
"I turned one off to see if you noticed," Vox said.
"I noticed," Alastor joked as he tried to invite Vox to take a seat with him.
Vox continued to stand and stare at Alastor.
"Vox don't make me say it," Alastor said with a sad but stern tone.
"Say what?" Vox asked. "You are not getting out of your deal."
"Not that," Alastor said as he looked up at Vox.
"Then what?" Vox asked still confused.
"You know for being smart enough to create new technologies, you aren't smart enough to read a person," Alastor remarked.
"That was your job," Vox replied.
"Quite," Alastor said. "Do I have to say it?"
"I have no idea what you are talking about?" Vox said feeling frustrated he couldn't pick up any hint.
Alastor sighed and said "I am sorry. I didn't mean to bring up old fights. I have rather been enjoying our time together."
Vox blushed and felt a sense of relief wash over him. Vox felt his face get hot and watched as Alastor noticed his reaction. Alastor smiled a devilish smile.
"Any thoughts?" Alastor asked.
Vox had one but Alastor wasn't going to like it. Vox sat down next to Alastor and placed his hand onto Alastor's cheek. Alastor just watched as Vox pulled him in for a kiss. It was a nice kiss. Nothing too soft or rough it was a kiss that felt like an embrace. Alastor felt his tail wag and felt himself enjoying the kiss. Vox pulled back.
"I forgive you," Vox said as he left his hands in Alastor's face.
Alastor couldn't think of words. Alastor wanted Vox to pull him back into another kiss. Instead Vox let go of his face.
"You can start work tomorrow," Vox said.
"Don't make me go back to the hotel," Alastor begged.
Vox was surprised at this moment of truth.
"But you like the hotel," Vox said.
"You're not there," Alastor said as he tried to lean into Vox.
Vox stood up and Alastor felt rejected which made him angry.
"I need to think some things over," Vox said.
Vox didn't want to push Alastor too hard. He wanted more than anything to remove Alastor's clothes and his. Wrestle to see who got to insert their dick into who. However Vox didn't want Alastor to be pushed away again.
"Well I guess, I'll head back and do a late broadcast," Alastor exclaimed feeling a little disappointed.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Vox said as he placed a gentle kiss onto Alastor's hand as he teleported him away.
Alastor was back in his room all alone.
"See you tomorrow," Alastor said as whisper to himself.
