It had been a week. Alastor felt as if he lost a part of him. Alastor's shadow kept leaving him to watch Vox but all he saw was Vox fucking Val or Vox on computers. Things Alastor didn't want to see. Alastor felt himself get up to go see what everyone in the hotel was doing.
As Alastor headed down the stairs he heard a familiar laugh. Alastor felt his heart race increase as he rushed down the stairs. Alastor saw Vox leaning against the bar as he talked to Charlie. Vox looked up to see Alastor. Vox flashed a charming smile at Alastor. Alastor could feel his face blush but he turned around to head back up the stairs.
"Alastor!" Charlie screamed in excitement. "Look who came to help me!"
Alastor turned around and was glad his face always had a smile on it.
"I see we got some new trash," Alastor said as he walked over to them.
"Hm," Vox chuckled. "Charlie was telling me how you became a drunk when I ended our little deal."
"That's not what I said," Charlie tried to interject.
"It was a celebration binge," Alastor said as he stood closer to Vox to intimidate him.
Vox stood up and leaned in closer.
"That's not what someone has been saying," Vox said as he pointed past Alastor.
"He doesn't speak for me," Alastor came back.
"No just shows your true emotions," Vox said.
"Why did you come here?" Alastor said feeling angry that Vox would come back to show his face around here again.
"To help," Vox replied.
"Funny, last time I checked you wanted to destroy this place," Alastor said so loudly that sinners outside could've have heard him.
Vox turned past Alastor and start to talk to Charlie.
"I wanted to offer my technical support," Vox said as he bowed to Charlie.
Vaggie was watching Vox's movements.
"Like?" Charlie asked.
"Like tech support," Vox said. "I would love to help you update and add devices that could help your establishment. Whatever you need, I will supply. I can help run your media account."
"That does sound helpful," Charlie said. "Don't you think Vaggie."
"I think it's a trap," Vaggie said.
"I agree with the fallen one," Alastor said.
"Hmmm," Charlie thought. "How do I know you won't betray us."
"You don't," Vox said. "But you trust him." Vox pointed to Alastor. "I am most more trust worthy than him."
"That might be true," Vaggie said.
"How about this," Vox said. "I'll move in. Make it easy to watch my movements. See what I am capable of. I will even cut off contact with the Vees when I am in this hotel. Everything I do here will be for the hotel not for my power."
Charlie and Vaggie looked at each other.
"That sounds fair," Vaggie said.
"Yes!" Charlie said. "When can you start?"
"I be happy to move in tomorrow," Vox said. "Have to pass a few duties off."
"Great see you tomorrow!" Charlie said as her and Vaggie left.
It was just Vox and Alastor.
"You look pissed," Vox said to Alastor.
"What is your plan?" Alastor hissed back.
"To make you see me everyday," Vox said.
"You will have to leave your boy toy," Alastor remarked.
"Jealous?" Vox asked.
"Hardly," Alastor said.
"Then why stay and watch," Vox rebuttal.
"I am not in control of what he does," Alastor said as the shadow appeared but then disappeared.
"Yes you are," Vox said. "Get comfortable with the idea that I'll be here with you."
Vox turned around and left out the doors. Alastor stood there feeling lost but knew he had to find a way to get Vox out of here.

Vox returned to the tower. He I trusted his top workers about the plans. Once down with leaving his instructions for the next month he went back to his penthouse to pack.
Vox was packing his suits when Val came in storming.
"Where the fuck are you?!" Val screamed.
Vox walked out and just stood there against the wall.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" Val said as he stomped his way to Vox.
"Making connections," Vox said as he pulled out his e-cigarette and took a puff from it.
"No!" Val screamed. "You are running back to him and leaving us to fend for ourselves."
"Cute," Vox said as he took another hit.
"Don't you cute me!" Val was pissed as he grabbed Vox by the shoulders and lifted him off the ground and pinned him to the wall. "You are running back to him. He got to you. I own you now."
"You don't own shit," Vox said.
Val threw Vox to the ground. Vox shoot out electricity that shocked Val.
"Fuck!" Val screamed.
Vox stood up.
"You don't have to like my choices but they are mine," Vox said.
"You think he loves you?" Val asked.
"He doesn't," Vox answered.
"Then why go back," Val was still pissed.
"I want to control the thing he loves," Vox said with devilish smile. "If I'm the new host of that hotel it will be easy to destroy."
Val smiled.
"I don't know why I ever doubt you," Val said laughing on his way out.
Vox went back to packing. He packed his technology into his backpack. Vox knew what his true motives are and if it worked he would never be back at the tower or at the very least never alone at the tower again.
