Vox woke up and saw Val naked and sleeping. Vox was still not feeling like himself. Vox got up and dressed himself and poured coffee. Vox saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was Alastor's shadow.
"Spying now are we?" Vox said with hate. "I thought I told you I wanted nothing to do with you."
The shadow looked sad. Vox forgot the shadow showed the true emotions of Alastor.
"What do you want?" Vox said just sipping his coffee and staring the shadow down.
Alastor's shadow just stared at Vox.
"Look I thought I made myself clear." Vox said.
It walked forward to reach for Vox but Val walked out of the room and it hide.
"I got to go do me some shoots," Val said as he approached Vox. "But I'll be back to have some more."
Val kissed Vox goodbye and left. The shadow reappeared with a sad expression like if the shadow could cry it would.

Alastor watched the kiss happen through the shadow. He was so hung over. Between wanting to throw up and his heartbreaking seeing the kiss, he could have believed he was hit with an angelic weapon again.

Vox looked back at the shadow.
"Look," Vox said. "I know how you work. Al is watching us right now and he's thinking he can send you to kill me or convince me to come somewhere to kill me. I am not that dumb."
The shadow walked out from its hiding spot.
"Just leave please," Vox said as he grabbed his coffee and headed toward the elevator.
The shadow followed.
"Are you going to follow me all day?" Vox asked as he stepped onto the elevator and the shadow did as well.
"Great," Vox said as he rolled his eyes.

Vox had been programming apps to suck in more viewers for about three hours. Vox looked up to see the still sad shadow watching him. Why was it still here? Vox thought as he typed on the computer.
"Are you gathering data?" Vox asked.
The shadow just stood there.

Alastor hadn't called back his shadow. He watched Vox work away and admired his handsomeness. Alastor wanted to go there but Vox seemed to make up his mind.

The shadow moved over to be closer to Vox. Vox immediately got up and went in the defensive.
"Stay where you are," Vox called out.
The shadow froze in its movement.
Vox stood up straight and watched as the shadow went down to his knees. The shadow placed his hands on his knees palms upwards. Vox walked over to stand over the shadow.
"You don't want to hurt me do you?" Vox asked.
The shadow shook his head no.
"Does Alastor want to hurt me?" Vox asked.
The shadow shrugged.
"Does he like me?" Vox asked.
The shadow shrugged again. Vox stood there staring at the shadow. Vox brought his hand up to his face as he thought. Vox rested his elbow on his arms.
"Does he miss me?" Vox asked.
The shadows eyes light up but then shrugged. A small chuckle left Vox's lip.
"Was that a yes or a no?" Vox asked.
The shadow seemed like he wanted to tell the truth but Alastor was prevented it. The shadow stood up fast and Vox stood back fast just in case. Then the shadow seemed to be dragged back to Alastor. Vox watched as the shadow disappeared.
Vox got an idea but he would need to plan for it. Vox got up and went to his penthouse to plan.
