(Amber POV)

Going out to eat with Dad is a rare occurrence. Not that we can't afford or that we dislike it, we just don't often plan a time to go out and eat.

But this time, Dad invited me to come with him to have dinner at a restaurant. I should've known what the reason was going to be.

We were already sitting down in our seats, me sitting across from my Dad. And sitting next to him was the Principal. And sitting next to me was Aoi.

What is this situation...?

"You should've at least told me it wasn't just going to be the two of us, Dad." I sighed.

"You didn't tell her?" Principal raised an eyebrow.

"This was when I was going to tell her!" Dad nervously chuckled.

"Tell me...what?" I questioned, already having an idea of what they were going to say.

"Your father and I..." Principal took a sip of her drink. "...are dating."

"Yeah, I figured." I shrugged in response.

"You did?" Dad stared at me in surprise.

I thought back to a few days ago, when I ran into Principal wearing my Dad's clothes after my first experience with Ken.

Principal and I glanced at each other, having a look of understanding. Yeah, let's not tell him about that.

"Yeah, anyways, how long?" I questioned.

"About a month now." Principal stated.

"A whole month? Seriously?" I looked at Dad. "You've been official for a whole month? That's how long it took you to tell me?"

He nervously chuckled in response, scratching the back of his neck.

"Congratulations, Mother." Aoi lightly clapped.

She's started to call Principal that now, huh?

Well, good for her.

I may not interact with Aoi that much at all, but I'm glad that she has someone she considers as family. Or maybe she's only calling her that because that's the "normal" thing to do. It's really hard to tell, the only person who can read this girl is Bianca.

And Bianca is just as hard to read!

"I wasn't going to tell you if I didn't work out." Dad sheepishly spoke. "There's no need to bother you with most of my love life. But it's actually been going really well so far."

"So we decided now would be a good time to tell you two." Principal continued.

"I still can't believe this is happening..." I sweatdropped. "...how did this even happen?"

"Well, we finally went on that date after Goku recovered his soul." Principal spoke. "One date turned into two, two into four...a few more dates later and then we started officially going out last month. We actually have a lot in common."

"Haven't you two practically been dating longer then?" I sighed. "I assume this is why you've been taking more days off?"

"Yes." Goku sheepishly replied. "I'm sorry I put more work on you, Amber. From now on-"

"Stop." I put a hand up. "I don't mind. Go and enjoy having dates. After all, I've never actually seen you date someone before."

"Oh, really now?" Principal smirked, looking over at Dad. "In all these years you've had Amber, I'm the one girl you've dated? I'm honored."

"I never really had the time, nor the interest." Dad chuckled.

"Good." Principal squeezed his arm. "You're mine now."
