Skaters these days

I heard voices down stairs and saw all the doors in the hall open. I crept down the hall and stopped at one I guess is Tony's. I looked around and casually stole a keystreet zip up and slipped it on before making my way downstairs. Tony just laughed when he saw me. "Not only are you wearing my jacket but also my shirt." He said and I shrugged. Vic walked out of the kitchen. "What's up?" He asked and I shifted as cas started to wiggle. "I was gonna go get some food for the polar bear and a collar and leash." I said before giving up and sitting the puppy down. Vic seemed to think it over. "I'll get food later but you can get the collar and leash if you wanna skate around a bit. Just wear a helmet and don't break any hands. Also let me give you some money and your board is in the car." He said and I groaned as he handed me money. Tony laughed but still seemed confused. I heard Vic begin to tell the story when I opened the door and walked out to the car. I pulled my bag out and my board. I moved my first aid kit to the smaller pouch and put the money in my pocket. I looked at cas and begged him to work with me as I put him in the big pouch of my bag. He looked at me from the whole I left in it. I smiled and made sure no one was watching as I stepped on my board ignoring my helmet and slipped my bag over my shoulders. I kicked off and decided to just ride for a while. As soon as I was out of sight of the house I pulled my beanie off and shook out my hair letting it fall in waves as I shoved my beanie in my pocket. I got into the city and looked around a bit as I rode. I saw a pet smart and stopped kicking my board up. I caught it and crossed the street with everyone else and entered pulling Cas from my bag and holding him as I walked. I found a cool leash with skulls and a collar with studs. I made a little name tag with my number and name and his as Castiel. I paid with Vic's money and made a last minute decision to grab a toy, bowl, and a bag of treats. I stuck everything in my bag and hooked the collar around cas then hooked a leash. I walked him not sure if he would handle running while I rode. I walked around a bit and heard laugher as I passed a park. Deciding to check it out I entered the park and and stuck my board in my bag. I followed the sound and snickered at a group of skaters. They all did simple tricks and then boasted. One must of heard me cause he turned to face me. "What do you think you can do better than us little girl?" He asked. I snickered again. He was a good two years older than me. I took off my bag and tied cas to it. I pulled my board out and passed the guys. They all stopped to watch and I just took a deep breath and showed off. They all stood shocked. What I grew up with a bunch of guys teaching me everything they know. I quit and saw some kid messing with my bag. Before I could even get there to stop him Cas stood up hackles raised and growled. I snickered. "Hey back off." I yelled and ran over. The kid took off and I scratched my baby. "Dude are you that chick that's touring with all those cool bands?" One of the guys asked and I smiled. "Guilty as charged." I said spinning on my toes to face him. He was standing with a few other guys while everyone else went back to messing around. "No way. My brother was at some skate park last night and he said you totally stood up to some guys and then met with one of their sisters because she was a fan even though they were total jerks. I smiled. "Yeah was a busy night. Then I had to get up early and pack to come here in the morning with some good friends of mine and I still met her this morning. Been a busy morning so I'll catch you around. Got place to be and people to see. Maybe I'll come around tomorrow." I said and the guys all smiled. I don't trust them but, they seem cool enough to show me around. I waved and grabbed my bag and board. I went to pick up Cas but, he squirmed. "Suit yourself." I murmured and got on my board holding his leash. I shoved my hair all up in my beanie and took off the way I came. It was a bit of a ride to the house and I got back just as it was getting dark. I grabbed my helmet from the car to make it look like I wore it and stuck my board under my arm. I walked in and passed all the guys in the kitchen and filled one of Cas's bowls with water then grabbed one of Mikes monsters from the fridge and joined the guys in the living room. Mike rolled his eyes. "Not even a whole day here and you already stole one of my drinks." He muttered and I smiled innocently sitting in Tony's lap and watching the rest of their movie with them before falling asleep.
